Prayer For Guidance To Make The Right Decision
Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus to ask for Your guidance and clear direction in the choices that I have to make concerning my future. It is my desire that Your will be done in my life, and I do pray that I will not miss Your best purpose for my life by making the wrong decision.
Help me to pray into Your will and to be shown clearly the way that You would have me go. Give me a correct focus on the direction that You would have me take, and help me to plainly see what You have planned for my life.
Remove from my heart foolish desires or selfish motives, and keep me far away from seeking after the things of the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life. May I live godly in Christ Jesus, walk in a manner that is worthy of Him and live in spirit and truth, with my eyes focused on Christ and my will guided by the Holy Spirit. This I ask in Jesus' name,

Loving Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing me to this point in my life and for always being there for me, even during those periods of my life when I have neglected You or ignored You or not paid attention to You as I ought. Forgive me my negligence and please listen and respond to my prayer.
Lord, I have come to the point in my life when I need to make the important decision on what vocation to follow. Please give me guidance and wisdom as I seek to discover the path that would be the best for me to follow.
Lord, I don't know which way to go or which path to follow, but I pray that in Your grace You would open up the door through which I should go. I am trusting my life into Your hands and pray that whatever vocation I finally follow, that You will be with me to lead and to guide. In Jesus' name I pray,

Dear God,
We come before you today to give thanks for Your everlasting love and to ask for your guidance in this great decision that must be made. Lord, help us to understand what You want in this situation and aid us in executing Your will. Help us realize that this decision is in Your hands, even if we are uncertain.
In Your name we trust, Amen.
Father please show us unmistakably where you want us to be and what you want us to do for You. Speak loudly and clearly to both of us and please send us confirmation of a your divine will for us!

God of all Truth, I spend so much time thinking, planning and worrying about my life. Your word says that, although people plan their course in their hearts, it is you who establishes our steps. Help me to make you the center of my planning. I can do nothing without you giving me the strength to do it. I can plan nothing without you giving me the mind to plan it. The desires of my heart can only be satisfied in you. Direct my steps, Lord, to follow you. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Loving Father, please send your Holy Spirit to lead me. You said that your Spirit will teach me all things and guide me into all truth. Remind me of the words of Jesus as I make choices today. When I become overwhelmed with the decisions that are placed before me, please give me the peace that surpasses all understanding. Clear my mind to follow you with all my heart, all my soul, all my mind and all my strength. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Almighty God, our help and refuge, source of wisdom and tower of strength, you know I can do nothing without your guidance and help. Help me and direct me to divine wisdom and power, that I may accomplish this task and whatever I may undertake to do, faithfully and diligently, according to your will, so that it may be profitable to myself and others, and to the glory of your holy name. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, now and forever.
Good morning, Lord! Today's a new day, a chance for a new start. Yesterday is gone and with it any regrets, mistakes, or failures I may have experienced. It's a good day to be glad and give thanks, and I do, Lord. Thank you for today, a new opportunity to love, give, and be all that you want me to be.
Today I want to start the day with you on my mind and in my heart. As I dress, let me wear the armor you've provided daily: the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith, the belt of truth, the shoes of peace, and the sword of the spiritwith prayer on my tongue: praise for you and petitions for those around me and those I meet.
Feed me today with your daily bread. As the Bread of Life, your food, like manna, will sustain me throughout any trials and hungers. Help me to set my thoughts on things above and to speak only what will help and encourage others. Keep me from putting my foot in my mouth, and help me guard the affections of my heart today, Lord. Make whatever work I do be marked with excellence rather than perfectionism, as I seek not to make a name, but to make a difference. Help me to treat each person I encounter as you would, with respect and love, forgiving others and asking for forgiveness myself when needed.
As I start this day, help me remember that I belong to you, and my desire is to act accordingly. Keep my feet from stumbling and my mind from wandering into distractions that could steal precious time and energy from the most important things you have designed for me. I'm proud to be your child, Lord. And I'm so grateful that you died for merising again on your own new morningso that every day could be filled with the wonder of your love, the freedom of your Spirit, and the joy of knowing you.
I know earthly life is short and fleeting, Lord. But I want to live today as if it were the first or the last day of my life, giving thanks for every good and perfect gift you choose to give. Today, and every day, I want to live my life for you, Jesus. In your precious name, Amen.
