Prayer For Guilty Conscience
Today I pray for others who have not been able to forgive and feel a deep sense of guilt, to be cleansed by You Father.
I surrender all to You. Lord, I know that I have already been forgiven. I confess that my sins are washed away by the blood of Jesus. May I be led by the Holy Spirit and not be controlled by my emotions.
I declare that He is my Guide, my Comforter, my Deliverer, and as I read the Word and get a more meaningful understanding of it, God's truth will be clearly revealed to me.
These mercies I ask in the precious name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ . SO BE IT AMEN AND AMEN!
All praise to You, Almighty God, for the wonderful things You have done. I lift my arms and my voice in complete adoration and love to Your Holy Name. You are great, Oh Lord, and worthy to be praised and honored. I pour my heart and soul into worshiping You, my Divine Creator, Wonderful Counselor.
Lord, I offer to You my conscience. I know that my conscience is a sanctuary, a holy place, where I am called to meet You and hear Your voice. May my conscience always be open to the full truth of Your Gospel so that I may be guided by You each and every day. Jesus, I trust in You.
Dear Lord, I recognize that my flesh nature desires to control my
circumstances to protect my ego, maximize comfort, minimize pain,
promote my best interests, and maximize good. Lord, I know that
true control can only come by surrendering my will to God. My ability
Holy Father, You tell me not to resist an evil person. If someone slaps me on my right cheek, I know that I must turn to him the other also. If someone wants to sue me and take my shirt, I will let him have my coat as well. If someone forces me to go one mile, I will go with him two. Lord, I pray that You soften my heart so that I can forgive with ease like You do, Amen.
Eternal Savior, I acknowledge my sin to You today and I will no longer cover up my iniquity. The enemy wants to use my sins and shame to keep me away from You, but I will confess my transgressions to You, and I know that You will forgive the guilt of my sin. Thank You for Your divine forgiveness that comes only from You! Thank You for getting rid of the shame that the enemy wants me to feel trapped in. There is none like You, Lord, Amen.
Father, so often we sin and need to run back to you and say we are sorry. Teach us to keep short accounts with you. To quickly come and pray the prayer for pardon to you that we might be restored to you. Thank you for the love and sacrifice of Jesus that made all this possible. In His holy name, we pray. Amen.
In addition to pardon, we are asking for a cleansing of our flawed character so that our hearts might be pure before God. An outward cleansing isn't enough, for God sees the heart and the heart must be changed.
