Prayer For Guidance Of The Holy Spirit
Holy Spirit of light and love, You are the substantial love of the Father and the Son; hear my prayer. Bounteous bestower of most precious gifts, grant me a strong and living faith which makes me accept all revealed truths and shape my conduct in accord with them. Give me a most confident hope in all divine promises which prompts me to abandon myself unreservedly to You and Your guidance. Infuse into me a love of perfect goodwill, and act according to God's least desires. Make me love not only my friends but my enemies as well, in imitation of Jesus Christ who through You offered himself on the Cross for all people. Holy Spirit, animate, inspire, and guide me, and help me to be always a true follower of You. Amen.
On my knees before the great multitude of heavenly witnesses I offer myself, soul and body, to You, Eternal Spirit of God. I adore the brightness of Your Purity, the unerring keenness of Your Justice, and the might of Your Love. You are the Strength and
Light of my soul. In You I live and move and am. I desire never to grieve You by unfaithfulness to grace, and I pray with all my heart to be kept from the smallest sin against You.
Mercifully guard my every thought and grant that I may always watch for Your Light, and listen to Your Voice, and follow Your gracious inspirations. I cling to You and give myself to You and ask You by Your compassion
to watch over me in my weakness. Holding the pierced Feet of Jesus and looking at His Five Wounds and trusting in His Precious Blood and adoring his opened Side and stricken Heart, I implore You, Adorable Spirit, Helper
of my infirmity, so to keep me in Your grace that I may never sin against You. Give me grace, O Holy Ghost, Spirit of the Father and the Son to say to You always and everywhere, Speak, Lord, for Your servant heareth.

Heavenly Father, how I thank You for my salvation, which You have given to me as a free gift of grace by faith in the Lord Jesus. Thank You also, that Your Holy Spirit has made me alive in Him and placed me into the family of God and the body of Christ.
Thank You, that He has set His seal of ownership upon me and taken up residence within my heart, so as to empower me in my spiritual walk, as He gradually transforms me into a lovely likeness of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself.
I pray that the Holy Spirit would lead and guide in all things, and that I would learn to listen to the gentle promptings of His voice, as I read Your Word or commune with You in prayer.
Give me grace to recognise His still small voice as I search though the scriptures each day, and furnish me with the wisdom I need to discern Your spiritual nudges, through godly Christians, who may be prompted to offer direction or give me advice.
May I maintain an open heart and develop a teachable spirit, and I pray that may I walk in Your ways and live a life that is well pleasing to You, and which glorifies my Father in heaven. I ask this in Jesus' name,

Heavenly Father, how I bless Your holy name for the wonderful work that Your Holy Spirit is doing in each of Your children's lives as You mold and make us into the people that You would have us to be.
Thank You for the convicting work that You did in my life and for the maturing process that continues to take place today, as I yield to Your ongoing teaching, training and corrective programme within me. Provide me I pray, with Your daily help and guidance and may I learn the many lessons that You are seeking to teach me, as You continue to comfort and correct.
May I be willing to learn all that You would teach me and may I be increasingly sensitive to Your warnings and promptings.
Give me I pray, ears to hear Your still small voice and a heart that is willing to walk in the path that You would choose for me to follow. May I be willing to go where You lead, do what You would have me do and give up that which You choose to remove from my life, even if I don't understand.
I pray that in the strength of Your Spirit, I may learn to say ,"Thy will be done, no matter what the cost" and give me the courage to accept Your will for my life. I ask this in the precious name of Jesus,

Lord Jesus, please guide my footsteps to take the right path in this life. I ask that you remove and break any ungodly soul-ties between myself and anyone else. Break every chain that joins these ungodly soul ties to me. Walk beside me, Lord and help me not to go astray, Amen
Gracious Heavenly Father, your word says that you will always guide me. You do not leave me wandering through life, but you are with me during every moment of every day. You will satisfy my needs when I feel frustrated and you will strengthen me when life makes me weary. Help me to follow your ways as you lead me into a life of fruitfulness and joy. May I be like the well-watered garden which thrives because the roots are firmly planted in your love. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Lord, I pray you would move the Spirit more boldly in my life. I know that any sin can grieve and diminish the voice of the Spirit, and I pray against the temptation to sin. Help me crave your presence more than I crave sin. Help me grow in the fruit of the Spirit and so walk closer with Yourself. I pray for guidance from your Spirit- let your will and promises always be a meditation of my heart. In Jesus' Name, Amen
