Prayer For Grandson
In every need let me come to Thee with humble trust, saying,
Jesus, help me!
In all my doubts, perplexities, and temptations,
Jesus, help me!
In hours of loneliness, weariness and trials,
Jesus, help me!
In the failure of my plans and hopes; in disappointments, troubles and sorrows,
Jesus, help me!
When my heart is cast down by failure, at seeing no good come from my efforts,
Jesus, help me!
When others fail me, and Thy grace alone can assist me,
Jesus, help me!
When I throw myself on Thy tender love as Father and Savior,
Jesus, help me!
When I feel impatient, and my cross irritates me,
Jesus, help me!
When sickness and loneliness overcome me,
Jesus, help me!
Always, in weakness, falls and shortcomings of every kind,
Jesus, help me and never forsake me.
Thank You, dear Lord Jesus.

Your Grandson is in our prayers. Please let him know that there are brothers and sisters offering prayers with you for his healing. It may help him to get through the depression he is feeling in the midst of such a trial.
I know how much my family and I appreciated prayers in particular times of sickness or sadness. We were so tired that it was difficult to pray ourselves, but knowing others were praying for us gave us strength and hope. The gift of prayer is meant to be shared by all God's children both in giving to and in receiving His Love from one another.
Please keep us updated on his condition. I'm sure your nephew is grateful to have you as his Godmother. Being a Godparent is a such special relationship. My niece was my first Godchild; she and all my other Godchildren have a truly special place in my heart.

O Merciful Jesus, have mercy on my godson. Give him the grace to grow closer to you. May he come to your Eucharist and learn to love it, as it embodies You on earth. Please show him Your favor with gifts from the Holy Spirit. Give him the strength to resist temptation and always serve You. And when his journey is done, take him home to enjoy life everlasting. I ask this through the merits of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.
Heavenly Father, thank you for the life of my grandson [Name]. He lights up the life of everyone in the family. Watch over him in the operating room and assure him of your constant presence.
Give him the courage he needs to face this surgery and know that he will come out whole and healed.
Let him remember that you are not the one who has brought this illness on his body for you are the God who heals him (Exodus 15:26).
I declare that your healing power is flowing through his body right now. He will live and be a blessing to his generation.
