Prayer For Gratitude To God
Lord Jesus Christ, thank you that you possess infinite riches of wisdom, goodness and power. You have said that you will provide for my every need. My life is a testimony of your goodness and grace. Remind me that everything I have, even the breath that allows me to pray this prayer, is a gift from you. Increase my faith that i may overflow with gratitude to you. May I increase and abound in love for others. May you establish my heart as blameless in holiness before you. In your powerful name, Amen.
Creator God, thank you that there is nowhere I can go that is beyond your presence. In your presence, I am blessed beyond measure. You have said that you will never leave me or forsake me, you are always with me. May I live a life of thanksgiving in your presence. Hear my prayer and fill my heart and my mouth with praise to you for your good gifts. May your love be the passion in my heart. May your joy be my strength when times are hard. May your presence be my peace that overflows. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Loving Father, thank you that every good and perfect gift comes from you, the Father of lights. Thank you for the gift of life today. Let me be rooted and established in you, overflowing with thankfulness for the blessings you have poured into my life. May I rejoice in the generosity you have shown me throughout my life. May I praise you for the rest of my days. You are able to do far more abundantly than all that I ask or imagine, according to the power at work within me. To you be glory throughout all generations, forever and ever. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Generous Father, thank you that, by you, all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible. I praise you with all of my heart for your love for me. I thank you for all your wonderful deeds. I worship you for the gift of salvation. I glorify you for my secure, eternal future with you. According to your abundant mercy, you have caused me to be born again into a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Let me continuously praise you. In your powerful name, Amen.
Heavenly Father, I give thanks to you because you are good and your faithful love endures forever. Thank you that you do not forget your people but hear their cry and save them. Thank you that nothing is impossible for your mighty hand. Thank you that you show compassion and mercy to your children. Thank you that you know my every need and satisfy my desires. Thank you that you have forgiven my sin. Thank you that you have conquered the powers of Satan, sin and death. Thank you that I will live in eternity with you, free from suffering, pain and tears. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
All-Knowing God, thank you that you are the resurrection and the life, death holds no power over you. Your word says that, even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Thank you for your strength and protection. Let me be filled with gratitude to you. Thank you that neither death or life, angels or rulers, things present or future, height or depth, or anything else in all creation, will be able to separate me from your love. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Thank You, Lord, for loving me so much that You sent Your only begotten Son to die on my behalf on a cruel cross and take upon Himself my sins. Thank You that He identified with my sinfulness so that I might be identified with His righteousness, by grace through faith in Christ. How grateful I am that while I was still a lost sinner Christ died for me.
How thankful I am Lord, that You searched me out and found me and brought me back into Your family, even though I was dead in my sins and at enmity with You. Praise Your holy name, for You are a good God and Your loving-kindness endures forever and I will be eternally grateful that You are my God and I am Your child.
Thank You, that You are my helper and healer. Thank You, that You are my refuge and strength and thank You, that You have surrounded me with people who love me dearly, and whom I love too. Lord, I do not deserve any of Your grace and goodness and yet day by day, You pour new and rich mercies into my lap and cover me with Your blessings. Praise God that You are the Rock of my Salvation. Oh Lord our God, what a joy it is to open my eyes in the morning and to remember all of Your loving-kindness towards us all, and for the many gifts and graces that we enjoy day by day.
Thank You for shelter from the cold, and for the rest and refreshment that is gained with a good nights sleep. Thank You for the joy of opening my eyes to a fresh day, where Your mercies are new every morning. What a wonderful and faithful God You are.
Thank You for my health and my home. Thank You for my family and my friends. Thank You for the many good gifts that You have been pleased to bestow on all Your children. Oh, thank You that You are my Father and that Christ Jesus is my Saviour. And thank You Lord, that I have the indwelling Holy Spirit to lead and to guide, to comfort and help. I am never alone because You are ever by my side. Praise Your holy name for all the good gifts that You have graciously given me, in such rich abundance. In Jesus' name I pray,
