Prayer For Grandpa
Loving God, In You, I have a renewal of strength. You have promised your constant presence, never to leave us nor forsake us. As I struggle with the physical restraints and mental lapses that old age has brought upon me, help me deal with my thoughts of inadequacy, uselessness, and guilt. Grant me, Lord, the inward peace that will guard my heart and mind, and allow me to find strength in You so that I can confidently face the new challenges in this phase of my life. Amen.
Father Creator, You have called us according to Your purpose. In You, all things work together for good. As I retire from years of active work and move into this slower, more relaxed stage in my life, I seek Your guidance for my new purpose and for new meaningful endeavors. Help me, Lord, to continue being a blessing to the people around me, especially my family. Show me how to leave behind a legacy that empowers people and honors Your Name. Amen.
Heavenly Father, I come to You today giving thanks for my grandparents. Thank You for keeping and protecting them. Thank You for Your guidance and direction in their lives. Thank You for picking them up when they have been weak. I pray that You direct them in any decision they need to make today. Guide them in their path today, tomorrow and always. In Your name I pray. Amen.
Heavenly Father, source of all health, fill my grandma and grandpa's heart with faith. Be near to them in times of weakness and pain. Although I know You are in control, I am apprehensive about what faces them. Sustain them by Your grace that their strength and courage may not fail. Heal them according to Your will. Amen.
Heavenly Father, I pray that my grandparents will surrender every area of their mind, will and emotions to You. I pray that they choose to dwell in Your goodness and faithfulness so that the good seeds You've planted in their life will take root. Keep them close to You and direct their steps down the good path You have prepared for them. In Jesus' name. Amen.
Father, I lift up this grandfather to you for your healing touch. If its according to your will, please heal him of the cancer. Surround him with peace and please make yourself known in his life. Remind him that YOU are bigger than the cancer. In Jesus name....Amen
Lord I thank you today for the gifts that grandfathers bring into our lives. I thank you, Father today for this grandfather and ask that you increase his life here with all of us. I ask today Father, that you evaporate the tumor present in this man's back that you heal him body, mind and spirit. Father I ask that you bring this man JOY, LOVE, PEACE,HEALTH and HAPPINESS into his life. He is depressed and needs a friend, he needs a reason to live Lord, He needs to be needed. I love your children father, I love you for bringing us all together on this beautiful place called earth and I ask for you to bless "ronihdz81" today, I ask that you intervene in both of their lives in a way that changes them forever. I love serving you Lord, I ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, AMEN.
I pray Lord that you heal my grandfather from cancer, please let the radiation have shrunken the tumor in his back. I pray Lord that you bring him out of depression and give him many more years with us. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
