Prayer For Grandparents
Dear God, You are our impenetrable Refuge and mighty Strength. You are an ever-present help in times of trouble. I come before You, Lord, seeking Your watchful care upon our grandparents. As they deal with the physical restraints and mental decline that come with aging, please protect them from accidents and diseases that can make their remaining years difficult. Protect them from people who might take advantage of them. Lord, allow them to live their remaining years in the peace and comfort of Your loving protection. Amen.
Heavenly Father, I entrust You to care for my grandparent who is going to have surgery soon; guide with wisdom and skill the minds and hands of the medical people who minister in Your Name, and grant that every cause of illness be removed, they may be restored to soundness of health. Through Jesus Christ. Amen.
Heavenly Father, thank You for today, Thank You for my dear family and all that You have blessed me with. I pray that You fill my grandparents' hearts with peace and strength. I pray that their days go smoothly and that their lives are touched in a special way. Reveal Yourself to them in marvelous ways. I pray that any barriers that separate us be let down, and that we would live as a team for You. I pray that Your will be done today and always. Amen.
Heavenly Father, as my grandparents wake up today, I pray that Your strength pilot them, Your power uphold them, and Your wisdom guide them. May Your eye look before them, Your hand protect them and Your shield defend them. Amen.
Heavenly Father, I ask You to strengthen my the mind, body and spirit of my grandparents today. When they are weary, may they be refreshed. When they are worn, may they be renewed. When they are broken, may they be restored. When they are fearful, may they become faithful. I pray that they walk in complete confidence today knowing that the Lord Almighty is with them. Amen.
Heavenly Father, It is such as blessing, such a joy to have grandchildren. We love them with such passion and know each moment spent with them is of great value. Help us to only add and give into their lives. To follow the leading of their parents, but also to sow unique special seeds of love and acceptance into their hearts. Holy Spirit lead us as we prayer for them. Help is be in tune with their worries and challenges. Bless our relationship with them, that we might display your love, and lead them into the grace and freedom of your kingdom. Amen.

Dear St. Ann, You were truly twice blessed To have our blessed Mother As your daughter And Jesus our Savior As your grandson. I know that every period Of our lives Has its responsibilities As well as its joys.
Today, it seems That grandparents Have either too little Use or too much; Either we are shunted aside To do nothing, Or we are called upon To do everything.
Help me to know Just where my duties lie In my particular situation And to carry them out as best I can.
Take care of my family, My children, and their children. Inspire them all To follow your Grandson And lead truly Christian lives.
Keep all of us In your loving care, Never let us turn away from Jesus, And help us in the end To receive the joy Of entering into your Grandsons' Glorious presence forever.
