and we have learned about how to love You and how to love each other
through their example.

Bless each of them with long life and show us all how to
honor them in ways that would let them know how much they mean
to us and that would also be pleasing in Your sight.

Amen

Dear Lord,

Bless every mother and every grandmother with the finest of your spiritual blessings today. Confirm in her heart and spirit the work of her hands and the love that she has so freely given to those children under Your care. Validate her worth daily so she has no reason to doubt whether she is loved, valued, and cherished in the eyes of her Heavenly Father.

Help Worry and Fear to Disappear
Create in her a deep sense of your protection and trust, so that worry and fear will disappear as she places her loved ones into Your care. Let her know that every prayer she has prayed and every encouraging word she has spoken on behalf of her children/grandchildren has been transformed into sweet, fragrant offerings before Your throne.

Whisper Sweet Words to Her
Whisper deep within her spirit the sweet words she longs to hear from You. Show her that nothing can ever separate her from Your love. Help her to nestle daily into the promises of Your Word, standing with faith on the things You declare are true. Let her know that You reward faithfulness, but that true success doesn't lie in her accomplishments or accolades.

Let her rest in the knowledge that she has done all she canand that she and those she lovestruly belong to you. Bless her with a servant spirit so she can teach her own the joy of hearing one day, Well done!

Calm Every Doubt
Remove any guilt, false or real, and replace them with Your amazing grace and forgiveness. Help her see her children or grandchildren through Your eyes, knowing that in Your hands is the safest place they can ever be. Calm every doubt, and strengthen her confidence in the Only One who can bring good out of any situation.

Give Her Wisdom and Guidance
Teach her that she cannot meet every need of her child's life, but that You can. Give her wisdom and guidance to train those precious children in Your path, and then to leave the results to You, Lord. Help her to love without limitations, to pray without ceasing, and to live without regrets.

Bless her with such a sweet dependency on You that she will acknowledge her inadequacies, yet recognize and accept Your reward of praiseand Your sense of pleasure in having her as Your own beloved child.

Show Her Your Faithful Character
Where prayers may still seem unanswered, and dreams are not yet realized, open her eyes to see beyond this world to a Hope that never disappoints. Show her Your faithful character: a Father who will never leave or abandon her.

Give her courage to persevere even in the most difficult moments of her life. Bless her with honesty, integrity, and a playfulness that shows her children she is human, yet unswerving in her desire know You.

May Her Life Overflow with Blessings
Let her joy be contagious; let her passion be pure; and let her life overflow with all the blessings she deserveson special days, and on every day of her life.

In Jesus' name,

Amen

How I thank You Heavenly Father, for my dear, dear grandmother. She has always been such a special support and encouragement to me, especially as I was growing up and finding out about life and living. She has given me so much of her gentle wisdom and good advice, never being judgemental, but always fair and kind.
Thank You for the wonderful example she has been throughout my life of a godly woman who loves Jesus first and foremost, and for the unique way that she lovingly gently nudges me to turn to You, in all the circumstances of my life. Thank You for placing her in my life. Thank You, that I have had the opportunity of learning so much from her, for her knowledge of the Scriptures and her delight to turn to You in prayer, day by day.
Lord, now that she is getting older, I pray that You would keep Your loving arms around her and protect her from harm. Guard and guide her, protect her and provide all that she needs. Draw her ever closer to Yourself. In Jesus' name,
Amen.

Faithful Lord, I praise You because even in my old age and gray hairs, You are Lord, the Lord who will sustain me. Father, You made me, and You will carry me. You will help me and rescue me. No one compares to You, and no one counts as Your equal. I thank You for keeping me alive for all these years and allowing me to see so much of Your awesome creation. Thank You for the peaks and the valleys all the same. Thank You for the many blessings that You have given to me. Amen.

Everlasting God, glory be to Your name! You are the Creator of the ends of the earth, You will not grow tired or weary, and Your understanding no one can fathom. Lord, I adore You because You give strength to the weary. You have increased my power in times of weakness. Lord, I place my hope in You because You will renew my strength, and will help me soar on wings like eagles. Fill me with Your energy, so that I can do Your will in service to others throughout my remaining days. Amen.

Awesome Healer, as I grow older, life does not get easier. My physical body often feels tired and achy. My attitude is often cranky and unhappy. I feel like I am on the sidelines because my children have their own lives now. I worry that I cannot keep up with all the technology and fast moving society, and that I will be scammed. Please help me overcome my negative emotions. Comfort my heart with the confidence that people will be there for me, they will help me, and You are always besides me. Fill my heart with cheer so that I can spread this cheer to others. Fix my crushed spirit that has dried up my bones. Lord, radiate happiness from my every pore so that everyone I meet is happier for it. Amen

Dear Lord Jesus, I do thank You for my lovely life and for the wonderful way that You have promised to be with me each day. Thank You, for bringing me safely through another night and for the gift of a new and wonderful day. Great is Your faithfulness.
Lord, I pray that as I prepare to get out of bed and get washed and dressed, that You would strengthen my legs and be my support as I go about my daily duties. Give me I pray, the strength to busy myself in my little kitchen and keep me from any dangers that may arise.
Be with me I pray, as I go to and from the shops, and I ask that in Your kindness You would put those people in my path Whom You choose. And help me to be a worthy witness of Your grace and kindness to all I meet, not only in what I say but in the way that I think and act.
Thank You for my wonderful children and for each of their lives, and thank You especially Lord, for the precious grandchildren that You have placed in my life, and for granting me the joy of seeing them start to grow up and develop into the little characters that have so blessed my soul. Lord, endue them with Your heavenly grace, enrich them with a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus, may each one grow in grace and in a knowledge of their Saviour and finally Lord, bring each one home to rest securely in Your everlasting arms.
Lord, I am not getting any younger, but I trust You to carry me on eagles wings and give me a song of praise in my heart throughout the day. May I rest in Your love and abide in Your grace until You choose to take me to be with Yourself, for my times are in Your hands. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus' name I pray,
Amen.
