Prayer For Financial Relief
O Lord, I confess that I have been unwise in so many of the financial decisions that I have made, which has caused me to get into debt. I have made many foolish mistakes, which have caused me to accumulate many bills which I am unable to meet. I have used credit unwisely and am accruing more interest due to my thoughtless actions.
I ask You Lord, to forgive my foolishness in building up such a mountain of debt, and to enable me to correct this enormous financial burden, which I confess is of my own doing and through my poor planning and inept financial skills.
I come to You Lord in my poverty, and ask that You would guide me through this difficulty and teach me to be more responsible both with my finances and my relationship with You, which I have neglected for so long.
Lord, I ask for Your help as I can do nothing without You and I thank You that You have heard my cry,
Amen.
Dear God, source of Love and Life who brings abundance to all,
Please bring prosperity to me and my family now.
We ask that these basic needs be filled:
Money to pay our bills,
Income to meet our mortgage (rent),
Enough to feed us healthy food,
And more than enough for health care and wellness.
Beyond the material needs, please uplift our souls.
Inspire our creativity and resourcefulness.
Guide us in improving our lives.
Please help us to hold on to faith
And let us find peace. Amen.
Dear God, Make me a cheerful giver of all my tithes and offerings. I chose to receive all of Your promises and blessings as I am obedient to Your Word. Help me to remember the poor, knowing that I am lending to You and You will repay. Let me give with an attitude of gratitude and worship. I have nothing without You and I will take nothing out with meonly souls. I love to give! Help me to hear the exact amount and to whom to give of my offerings. In Jesus' name. Amen.
Heavenly Father,
I come before you today to ask for a financial blessing to improve my life.
My faith keeps me strong, and I know you will provide for me and the people I love.
I do not seek a large sum of money.
I do not trouble you for unneeded comforts or luxury.
I only ask for enough money to relieve my financial woes and ease this stress.
Give me the means to do your work, and spread your Love.
I have so much to give, if only I were allowed the chance.
In your name I pray, Amen
Father, praise You for saving us by Your indisputable grace. Nothing trumps Your just and loving hand. No poor decision we make, irresponsible purchase, or insurmountable debt can separate us from Your love.
Paul reminds us in Ephesians that there isn't anything we can do to gain or lose our salvation. The freedom Christ won us on the cross is what it is. Nothing we do or say can add or subtract from His sacrifice or from who He is.
Without a concrete Rock to stand on, we would drift along thinking that we somehow have the power to trump Your authority. Thank You for reminding us, through Your Word, that we do not. That You love us indisputably and always, whether we are precise accountants or frivolous spenders. You know who we are, and You know our heart's intentions and our struggles. You are the only one equipped to balance and judge where we are at. You consistently say that we are Yours and remind us, through Your Word, of Jesus' sacrifice for us.
Father, we confess our financial challenges. In a society that lifts money up to such high importance, it's extremely hard to battle our mind's eye each day. Thank You for blessing us with money to spend, and help us to honor You with our choices. Forgive us for mindlessly buying things in dollar sections and store end-caps. Sometimes, there are things that we never knew we needed until the bright discount sticker catches our eye. Strengthen us in those moments to fight our impulses by yielding to the power of the Holy Spirit within us.
Help us to see our finances through Your eyes. You have a purpose and plan for our lives, and every cent we're blessed with to manage. Stir our hearts to seek Your counsel on everything from buying dessert to a brand new car. Urge us to seek You in Your Word, and prayerfully consider Jesus' example on this earth. We confess that we don't often stop to think about what You want for our wallet over what we want. When new trends are just a swipe of the credit card away, stir in our hearts to fight temptation.
Jesus walked the earth simply, as a carpenter without a flashy lifestyle. His miracles were something money couldn't buy. Not then, and not now. God's love and God's plan look different for all of us, but His love does not rise and fall on a scale. He is everlasting, omnipotent, and sovereign. And He has chosen us. Created us. And called us good.
Our purpose on this earth is to help others. Whether we struggle to part with our money, or have trouble accepting God's generous blessing, help us to be laser-focused on our conversation with You. When we look around to compare our finances with others, it will always cause our hearts unrest. We don't have the privilege of knowing people inside and out and from the moment of their creation like You do. We assume wealthy equals satisfied. But only Christ holds the key to all happiness.
Whether we seek careers or possessions to heighten our visibility in society, none will ever satisfy or compare to Jesus' love. Help us to follow Christ in our daily lives. Prayer is life changing, that You promise us. We lift up the bills that puzzle and scare us to You. Guide us, direct us, and equip us to trust You more and more in the daily direction of our financial lives.
Thank You for providing for us, Father. Just the fact that we are skimming over these words is prove that You've provided for another day for us. Bless our finances, and help us to seek You first in everything, each day. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Loving Lord, the times in which we live are getting increasingly difficult. I have many expenses that are building up and I don't know which way to turn. There is nothing I can do to help myself and so I want to place all my financial affairs and money concerns into Your hand.
Lord, You have been my Provider over many years for which I praise and thank You, but now, as I am facing some severe debt that is building up, I ask that You replace my anxious thoughts with Your precious peace. You have said that You will keep the one whose mind is stayed on You in perfect peace.
Lord, You have told us to cast all our burdens upon You because You care for us. Today Lord, I come and give You all my financial problems and ask that You show me what to do, for I don't know what to do, but I know my help is in You alone. In Jesus' name I pray,

Dear Lord Jesus, I come before You and ask that You would give me the finances I need to meet the demands of life. I continue to trust You for all my needs and thank You for the way that You have provided for me in the past.
Lord, I do not seek after wealth and riches but sufficient to meet the demands of the day and to keep me from foolish worry. Give me I pray, means to work so that I may provide for the needs of my dear family, and I will give you all the praise and glory for all Your goodness to all Your children. In Jesus' name,

Dear God;
I sincerely thank you for all the blessings you have given my family and I over these past months. Only you could make a way out of no way.
You've brought us through many hard times in our life and we thank you. But Lord, we've come from so far and have tried so hard to adapt and find employment to pay our bills and start a new life.
My Wife and Son have trusted my judgement in relocating back to our hometown. I prayed for deliverance and you provided the means and way to get here. Lord,I believe that you didn't bring me and my family this far just to leave us struggling for financial security.
Please Lord, Father of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, hear my prayer request. Please hear my cry for peace of mind and financial abundance. Relieve us from living in fear of homelessness. Bless me with the tool of financial abundance that I may also bless others for your glory.
MY heart is breaking and depression is setting-in. My faith is being taxed beyond my abilities to hold on. I refuse to doubt your unconditional love and kindness for me and my family. I praise you with all my heart and soul.
Only you are my salvation and from which my support comes. Please hear my prayer oh Lord my God. We are here now in Oakland, California after packing up and leaving our beautiful home in Round Rock, Texas and traveled across the country to see about my Mother who's mind is failing.
I believe I was led here for a purpose. I didn't expect to have such a hard time relocating and adapting to this new environment. I have continued to stay prayerful and obedient. But, our nest-egg has evaporated and my job transfer didn't work out as it should have. I've used my last savings to keep us afloat. I don't know what else to do but to praise you for giving me the knowledge and wisdom of your existence. Please God, save us from homelessness.
In the name of Jesus, I call forth my Guardian Angels and Ministering Angels to guard, guide and protect me and my family. I ask for financial assistance to pay our rent and utility bills, help me to keep our phone on for job opportunities. Please, allow me to find the needed funds in our mail box or send a blessed message to my e-mail address. Help me to remember that I am not alone.
Please save us, in the name of Jesus!
