Prayer For Consecration
Father, thank you for the blessing and the provision of this home. We bring it under our authority now, and under the authority of Jesus Christ. We take full authority over this home, in the name of Jesus Christ. The keys to this home have been given to usauthority has been given to us and we take a total and complete authority over this entire home now, in Jesus' name. We renounce all ungodliness and all sinful activity that has ever taken place in this home. We renounce the sins of all previous owners, renters, guests, even the builder (for those are the things that give the enemy claim). We cancel every claim the enemy can make here, by the blood of Jesus Christ. We cleanse this home with the blood of Christeverything spiritual, everything physical. We consecrate and we dedicate this home to the rule of Jesus Christ, and to the Holy Spirit. We consecrate the appliances, the structure and infrastructure, the water and electricity; we consecrate the physical realm and the spiritual realm; we consecrate the land as well. [Walk through every room, do this very deliberately.] Come, Holy Spirit, come and fill every part of this home with the glory of your kingdom, with love, with peace, with holy rest. Jesus, we ask your angels to cleanse this home now, to establish your kingdom here, to build a shield of protection around it. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ the Lord, we now proclaim this home and land and everything in it the property of the kingdom of God.
I present my body to Jesus Christ as a living sacrifice; I present the members of my body to Jesus Christ as instruments of righteousness. My body has been bought with the blood of Jesus Christ and it belongs to him. My body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. I renounce every way I have misused and abused my body; I bring all those acts under the atoning blood of Jesus Christ. I rededicate my body and all its parts to the loving rule of Jesus Christ; I dedicate and consecrate my body to him in every way. I ask for the blood of Christ to cleanse my body and make it holy once more. Holy Spirit, come and fill your temple now; restore my body under the complete dominion of Jesus Christ.
O Lord, may nothing dwell in my soul
But your pure love alone.
Till my every thought, word, and act be love.
Yes Lord, may your love posses me whole;
You're my joy, my treasure, my crown!
Father, I pray the Prayer of Dedication, Consecration, and
Submission. In every area of my life, I belong to You. Father, I'll
go where you want me to go, I'll do what you want me to do. Not
my will, but your will be done. Thank you, Father that you work in
me both to will and to do of your good pleasure. You have a good
plan for my life, a plan of peace and joy.
Father, what you want and what you desire is what I want; that is
what I desire. Not my will, but your will for my life every day,
Father. Not my own way, not the way of the flesh, but the way of
the Spirit. Father, your will, your plan, your way.
Father, I dedicate my life to you in every area. You have a plan for
me in every area of life. Thank you, Father, for the joy of
obedience. I will obey you with joy. Father, I want to have the
spirit of obedience in my life, not rebellion or pride, not resistance
or hard-heartedness, but a soft, sensitive heart that is willing to do
anything.
I rebuke rebellion and stubbornness in Jesus' Name. Father, I say
before your presence that I am willing to do anything you want me
to do. No matter what man says, no matter what the world says,
you have found a willing person. You have found an obedient
person.
Father, I will do what you say all the way, just the way you say it,
no more and no less, and with joy. Thank you, Father, for the
spirit of faith and the spirit of obedience. And Father, thank you
that your will will be fulfilled in my life to your glory. In Jesus'
Name, Amen.
O Spirit of God, warm our hearts with the love of God and of Christ that we might be awakened to our opportunity to give our best to worship and serve you today and everyday. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
I consecrate my life again today to the Holy SpiritI consecrate my gifting and my writing; I consecrate this bookevery word, every paragraph, every page, all of the structure, the flow, the stories, the very spirit of it. (You will want to adapt this to the things you are consecrating). I consecrate this office and my computer. I bring this all under the rule of Jesus and under the filling of the Holy Spirit. And I call forth the creative life rule of Jesus Christ throughout my office today, throughout my gifting and all of my writing, in Jesus' name.
Lord Jesus Christ, I consecrate myself today anew and without reserve to your divine Heart. I consecrate to you my body with all its senses, my soul with all its faculties, my entire being. I consecrate to you all my thoughts, words and deeds, all my sufferings and labors, all my hopes, consolations and joys. In particular I consecrate to you this poor heart of mine so that it may love only you and may be consumed as a victim in the fire of your love.
I place my trust in you without reserve and I hope for the remission of my sins through your infinite mercy. I place within your hands all my cares and anxieties. I promise to love you and to honor you till the last moment of my life, and to spread, as much as I can, devotion to your most Sacred Heart.
Do with me what you will, my Jesus. I deserve no other reward except your greater glory and your holy love. Take this offering of myself and give me a place within your divine Heart forever. Amen.
Grant, O Lord, to Thy Church assurance of freedom and immunity from harm; give peace and order to all nations, and make the earth resound from pole to pole with one cry: "Praise be to the divine Heart that wrought our salvation; to it be glory and honor for ever." Amen.
