Prayer For Confidence In God

Protect me, O God; I trust in you for safety. I say to the Lord, You are my Lord;
all the good things I have come from you. Those who rush to other gods
bring many troubles on themselves.[b]
I will not take part in their sacrifices;
I will not worship their gods.

Dear God, you know my heart and you know that I love you. I'm trying to do my best to follow after you, but sometimes I get tripped up. Sometimes I lose focus. Sometimes I forget who I am in you and start looking to the world to tell me who I am. On the days when my confidence is fading fast, build me up again. Remind me of the simple truth that confidence can only be found in chasing after you. I can walk around confident knowing I am loved. I can walk around confident knowing I am enough. I can live knowing I have been rescued, free and called to do great things. Help me remember these things, wonderful Father. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

In You, O God, I put my trust.

In you, O God, I have experienced Your grace.
My trust and confidence come from knowing You, O Lord.
It is the reason I have confidence in Your goodness, O Lord.

In time of pain and misery, I have confidence in You, O Lord,
since You stay faithful and listen compassionately to me.
In times when I cannot get out of darkness,
You are there to raise me with Your love.
You embrace me like a lost son
looking for affirmation and assurance.
Your love and presence to me, Lord,
is why I have confidence in You.

I have confidence in You, Lord, since
You have helped me through others.
In the thickness of things, You stay close to me
like a trustworthy friend.
You do not judge me in my shortcomings,
but Your gaze of love melts my heart.

You, O Lord, are full of love and compassion
towards a broken-hearted soul.
Your gaze is what gives me the confidence
to get up and journey on in life.
I have no confidence in money or power that five false security.
I have no confidence in fame, prestige, or the praise of others.
I have no confidence in pride, achievement, or success.

But I have every confidence in your
unconditional love and goodness.
I have every confidence in your mercy and forgiveness.
It is this confidence in Your, O Lord,
that draws me closer and closer to You.

Heavenly Father, we gather together and come into agreement in the wonderful and powerful Name of Jesus Christ.

Where two or more are gathered there You'll be in the midst of us and anything we agree upon as touching You will surely do.

Father in Jesus Name, there is no distance in the spirit and we thank You for the listener who desires a prayer for strong confidence in Your plan for their life.

The listener's confidence in Your plan for their life has come under fire. They desire to be a Believer who is not moved by the challenges in life.

Help them to be fixed and committed to do exactly what You have created them to do.

We ask You together in prayer for more wisdom, revelation, and understanding about Your plan for their life.

As they become more and more aware of where You are taking them please give them power and strength to stick with Your plan until it is completed in Jesus Name!

Your plan for their life is extraordinary! It is amazing!

We decree and declare that the Holy Spirit is revealing the plan for the listener's life even more clearly right now!

We decree and declare that their number one priority and focus is to do Your will Lord!

Praise You Lord!

The listener is willing to do what You ask them to do. They are willing to go where You've called them to go.

We boldly declare that they are willing to pay any price that they have to pay in order to accomplish Your plan for their life!

We declare this by faith in Jesus Name!

We believe and receive everything we've prayed and give You glory in advance for this prayer is answered!

In the wonderful and precious Name of Jesus we pray, amen.

Dear heavenly Father, it's a source of incredible comfort to know that you are resolutely committed to keeping and changing usto make us more and more like Jesus. For you've promised to bring to completion the good work you began in your children (Phil. 1:6).

We'd despair if this wasn't the case, for the disparity between Jesus' beauty and our brokenness is overwhelming to us at times. The thoughts we think, the things we feel, and the choices we make often contradict the gospel we love. We could never be our own savior, and only a great Savior like Jesus is sufficient for people like us.

So here's our peace and joy: As the God of peace you're completely sanctifying us transforming us through and throughspirit, soul, and body; and you're not impatient in the process. You don't roll your eyes, cross your arms, or furrow your brow when you think about us. You are completely at peace with us.

We will be wholly blameless and shameless, at Jesus' second coming, only because he took our blame upon the cross, and despised its shame. Even now, our lives are hidden safely in Christ; and when he does return, we will appear with him in glory, for Jesus is our lifeour righteousness, holiness, and redemption (1 Cor. 1:31; Col. 3:4).

Therefore, our boast is in Christ, for there's nothing in us that's boast-worthy. Our hope is built on nothing less, nothing more, and nothing other than Jesus' blood and righteousness. Hallelujah, many times over.

Father, as we lean into the rest of this beautiful Fall, we actively surrender to the very active ministry of the Holy Spiritby whom we're sealed, with whom we're indwelt, and through whom we will be safely delivered into your presence. So very Amen we pray, in Jesus' strong and loving name.

It is good to mistrust ourselves, but how would that advantage us were we not to throw all our confidence on God, and to wait on His mercy? If you feel no such confidence, cease not on that account from making these acts and from saying to Our Lord: "Yet, O Lord, though I have no feeling of confidence in You, nevertheless, I know that You are my God, that I am all Yours, and that I have no hope but in Your goodness; so, I abandon myself entirely into Your Hands." It is always in our power to make these acts; although we have difficulty in performing them, still there is no impossibility. Thus we testify faithfulness to our Lord.

Lord, thank you that you are always faithful and true, and that your steadfast love never ceases. Thank you that prayer is powerful and effective, and that even when we doubt, you still hear our prayers and act on our behalf. Lord, I confess that sometimes I doubt. Sometimes I'm not sure if my prayers are really effective or if you hear me. So Lord, I ask you would embolden my faith. Help me have confidence that you will always be there for me and will never leave or forsake me. Thank you for your tender love for me. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
