Prayer For Church Staff
Oh Lord, help every worker to work wholeheartedly for the church. Help them to remember that the work they do in the church is not in vain as Your Word declares that Your work is never wasted. I pray that they will always excel in the work for Your kingdom, doing their best and doing more than is needed. I pray that every worker within the church will be steadfast and immovable, working enthusiastically for You, Amen.
Righteous God, I pray that Your chosen people will do all things in love as they work in the church. I pray that no one will take advantage of the poor and needy who may volunteer to work for the church. Let every individual be treated with love and care so that even as we do mundane tasks, we do it whilst reflecting You, Amen.
Oh Lord, I thank You for workers in the church and we acknowledge that at times they may feel underappreciated while they serve the church. But Lord we ask that You will help them to remember that this service is not about serving human masters. Lord, we acknowledge Your Word that declares that You are not unjust and we know that You will not forget the work that workers within the church have done. So, we thank You Father, Amen.
Heavenly Father, I pray that workers in the church will not work for food that spoils or any earthly reward. But, I pray that they will work for the food that endures to eternal life that only Your son can give. I pray that as workers serve the church, let them remember that their reward on earth may not appear great, but the heavenly reward they receive will be much greater; thank You Lord, Amen.
Dear Lord, I thank You for allowing every worker to serve the church. We are grateful for the positions and responsibilities because the role they play in the church is work that they can enjoy. Lord Your Word says that there is nothing better for a person than to enjoy their work, so I give You thanks and pray that all who see those who work in the church, will see their love for serving others, Amen.
Eternal Father, I pray that You give divine strength for workers to serve the church. I pray that they will work hard in all that they do so that people will see You through me even my work within the church. I pray that everything they do will be fruitful in Jesus Name. So, Lord I pray that every worker in the church will have the mindset that, all hard work brings profit. So, help them work hard like You intended. I pray that You strengthen them in all that they do, Amen.
Sovereign Father, we thank You for our church staff and their families. We thank You for providing the funds and resources so that Your business can be conducted at this church. We thank You for blessing our church with capable and dedicated staff members. Thank You for the sacrifices that the staff members make for the advancement of Your Kingdom. We give thanks to You, Lord, for You are good. Your mercy endures forever. Gracious Father, holy and righteous is Your Name. The heavens proclaim Your glory and the skies display Your craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak and night after night they make sure You are known! Lord, You are our source and in You do we place our trust.
Faithful Father, we declare that our church staff will recognize those who labor among them and they will esteem each other in love. We confess that they will be at peace with each other. They will comfort the fainthearted, uphold the weak and be patient to all. They will not render evil for evil; but they will pursue good. We confess that they will not quench the Holy Spirit, but they will test all things and hold fast to what is good. Our church staff will abstain from every form of evil. They will aspire to lead quiet lives, mind their own business, and work with their own hands as they are commanded. We confess that the fruit of the Spirit will be operative in the lives of our church staff and their family members and they will be faithful stewards over what You have given to them. As our church staff meets the needs of Your Kingdom, we trust that You will supply all of their needs from Your glorious riches which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. Lord, we confess that we will support our church staff and their families with our prayers and we will volunteer to participate in ministry.

Wonderful Father, we ask You to keep _____________ (insert names) in perfect peace as they keep their minds on You, and trust in You. Lord, touch their hearts to perform every task assigned to them with excellence and great prudence. Please remind them to make the most of all their time. Please help them to lead balanced lives with their families as they respond to the demands of ministry. Father, please bless their homes, their marriages, and their children. Help our church staff to eat well, get enough sleep and exercise. Please protect them and their families from the onslaught of the enemy and the disrespect of people. Holy Spirit, encourage our Church Family to do their part in ministry to support our church staff.
Merciful Father, forgive our church staff and their family members for their sins. Please forgive them for anger, frustration, fear, anxiety, dissension and contention. Forgive those who do not seek Your wisdom on how to perform their jobs. Forgive those who have do not manage their time well. Forgive those who are not pursuing a strong relationship with You. Forgive those of us who are not praying consistently for our church staff and their family members. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind our church staff and their families to forgive each other and other people, and please help them to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to show you names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He shows you, say aloud, I forgive name of person(s). Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
Omnipotent Father, help our church staff and their families to not yield to temptation; but deliver them from the evil one.
Triumphant King, You will sit on Your throne forever. Your fame will endure to every generation. Your deeds have been recorded so that future generations, a people not yet born, will praise Your Name. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I praise You for (insert name), that Your mighty great hand continues to cover and lead (insert name) and their family in their walk with You.
We pray that the Holy Spirit refreshes them daily and keeps them from distractions of this world. May they experience Your peace beyond understanding and love each other with the love and joy that flows from Your throne in heaven.

May they also live life with Your joy, knowing that Your burden is light and Your yoke easy.

Show them how to serve You with open hands as You steer the course and bring them on a wonderful journey with You.
Give them wisdom and grace to overcome any barrier, and be the face of Jesus Christ to all those around them. Help them overcome discouragement, interpersonal challenges, fatigue, insecurity, temptation, the tyranny of a busy schedule, spiritual pride anything that may rob them of the joy of serving You, Almighty Father.
Call them back to You alone, to always be centred on You alone. Protect their time alone with You. Pour Your love on them, so that that love overflows to others.
Psalm 36:10 NLT Pour out your unfailing love on those who love you; give justice to those with honest hearts.
We thank You for (insert name) and for providing the opportunity for them to be Your conduit of Your powerful love, redemption and freedom.
