Prayer For Church Meeting
Heavenly Father, thank you that you are the source of all true joy in life. Help us to find our joy in you. May your voice sound clearly above all others as we leave this place. May your peace be in our hearts, your grace be in our words, your love be in our hands and your joy be in our souls. May your love surround us, your Spirit guide us, your voice cheer us, your peace calm us, your shield protect us, your wisdom arm us, wherever you may lead me. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Mighty God, thank you that you hear and answer our prayers. Hear our prayer and be in the midst of our meeting today. Thank you that your presence calms the troubled sea of life and speaks peace to our souls. Give us clear minds and peaceful hearts as we gather together. According to your abundant mercy, you have caused us to be born again into a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. May we live in the light of your salvation, experiencing the freedom that is ours in you. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Lord, our Rock and Redeemer, thank you that you are perfectly faithful; you never forget, never fail and never take back a promise. You have promised that, when your people gather in your name, your presence is here with us. Fix our eyes on you and let our ears be attentive to your voice. Restore to us the joy of our salvation as we worship you. May we grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. To you be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Gracious Father, we thank you for the opportunity to meet together today. As we leave this place, surround us with your love. May we see your beauty, feel your love, know your wisdom and experience your power. May we find the comfort we desire in you and the strength we need in your name. May your presence be with us every hour of the day. May your love be the passion in our hearts. May your joy be our strength when times are hard. Almighty God, you graciously hear all our prayers and you promise that when two or three agree together in your name you will grant their requests. Fulfill our desires and prayers, and make all things work together for our good. Increase our knowledge of your truth, and our experience of your love. You are able to keep us from stumbling and to present us blameless before the presence of your glory with great joy. Everlasting Father, we give thanks to you today, we bless your name together. You alone are good and your steadfast love endures forever. Your faithfulness endures from generation to generation. As we gather together today fill our minds and our mouths with praise to you. Guard our thoughts and our hearts that we may glorify you in every aspect of our lives. You are the name above all other names, the king above all other kings. Blessing and glory, wisdom and thanksgiving, honor, and power and strength, be unto you our God forever and ever. Heavenly Father, thank you that you are gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love. We enter your gates with thanksgiving today and we enter your courts with praise. We glorify you for the countless ways you have blessed us. We praise you for your great love. We thank you that we can enter your presence today. May Christ dwell in our hearts through faith so that we, being rooted and grounded in love, may have the strength to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge. Loving heavenly Father, We come to you this hour asking for your blessing and help as we are gathered together. We pray for guidance in the matters at hand and ask that you would clearly show us how to conduct our work with a spirit of joy and enthusiasm. Give us the desire to find ways to excel in our work.
