Prayer For A Job Interview
O Lord, my God, my faith will never be put to shame when my trust is in you. You have entrusted me with gifts, abilities and skills. You have given them to me to use for the purposes you have prepared for me in advance. Help me to demonstrate those gifts in my interview and use them effectively in this job. In everything I do, help me to glorify you. You commanded me to love you and love my neighbor as myself, help me to do that through this job. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Lord of the Universe, you created this world and everything in it. You created my life and everything in it. It is you who gives the ability to work and the ability to produce wealth. Everything I have is a gift from you. Every breath that I breathe, word that I speak, and task that I carry out, is done through the strength you give me. Help me to rely completely on you as I approach my job interview. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Generous Father, you are the source of all satisfaction and fulfillment in life. Help me as I attend this interview. My desire is to be successful in my application for this job. You have said that if I delight myself in you, you will give me the desires of my heart so I come before you now. Help me to find my deepest joy in you so that I can approach this interview with freedom rather than pressure. Help me focus on you throughout this process. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Eternal God, you always act in my best interests. You have plans for me. Your plans are not to harm me but to prosper me, to give me hope and a future. As I approach an interview, my thoughts turn to my future. Help me to trust in your plans and receive the prosperity you have for me. Lord God, you are my shepherd. You guide me and provide for me. You care for me and direct me on the best path. As I am facing the pressure of this interview, remind me that you have prepared a table for me. You have anointed me, your blessings overflow in my life. As I go into this interview I can feel free in the knowledge that your goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
