Prayer For A Job Seeker
Loving Father, your word is a light for my feet, guiding me in the way I should go. As I search for a job, I ask that you would bring illumination that I may see clearly the opportunities that you place before me. Fill my heart with your steadfast love and give me confidence that I can trust you with my future. You have always provided your people with everything they need and I believe that you will provide the right job for me. Fill me with the Holy Spirit, so that I may abound in hope. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Gracious and loving God, you know our need for meaningful work.
Send your Holy Spirit to guide those who are searching for employment.
Help them to recognize the gifts and talents you have given them.
Deepen their desire to follow your will.
Inspire them as they contact potential employers.
Give them patience as they wait for responses.
Shelter them from feelings of rejection.
Protect them from discouragement. Give them courage to overcome fear.
Shower on them the graces they need to persevere.
Let this time of searching become an opportunity to grow in faith,
to cultivate the virtue of hope, and to experience your healing love.
We ask this through Jesus Christ, Our Lord.

O loving and kind God, have mercy. Have pity upon me and take away the awful stain of my transgressions. Wash me and cleanse me from this guilt. Let me be pure again. I admit my shameful deed. It haunts me day and night. It is against You and You alone that I sinned and did this terrible thing. You saw it all. Your sentence against me is just. Create in me a new, clean heart, O God, filled with clean thoughts and right desires. Don't toss me aside, banished forever from Your presence. Don't take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me again the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey You (Psalm 51:1-17).
Oh Lord! You are make a way where there is no way, create job opportunities for me in Jesus name.
All reproach of joblessness in my life shall come to an end this month in Jesus name.
Heavenly father, I come before You seeking Your help in this time of desperate need.
Lord, You said to ask and it shall be given to me, seek and I will find, knock and doors shall be opened for me.
Lord, this day You know my needs, You know my struggles, You know the crisis I face each day and you are not a God of confusion but a God who hears and answers.
You are Jehovah Jireh, my provider and you will never let Your children go a day without bread. I plead for a breakthrough in my life and I trust in You because victory is mine, in Jesus name.
As I am about to apply for a job, I pray for your four favor upon these resumes.
I pray that you would cover and shield it under your blood so that whoever reads this will acknowledge it, and not only acknowledge it but I will be hired.
Through You Lord, these applications will be highly considered and favor will be mine.
Your blessing upon me this day so that wherever my applications go, it will not be rejected but will be acknowledged.
My resumes will not be void but I will get many opportunities for You are the God who gives.
I plead your light upon these resumes and I receive your blessings and believe it is already done. In no other name but in Jesus' name I pray, Amen!
Dear Lord,
I pray that you would bless me with a job today. A job that would provide for me abundantly beyond my beliefs, to be able to make a major change in my life, to provide for my family and others. Lord, I pray that the right people would come into my life to direct me to the employment that you already have for me.
I have been waiting for a while with wavering faith, but now I am totally faithful and excited for the greatness you have for me. Your will is my way Father. Forgive me for my transgressions today.

Heavenly Father, your love has transformed my life. As I look for a new job, I pray you would guide me as I seek. As I consider various opportunities I pray that you would keep my heart rooted and fixed in you. Help me to make decisions based on your wisdom rather than my desires. Guide my steps and make clear the path you are opening up before me. Lord, bless me and keep me, make your face shine upon me. Turn your face towards me and give me peace.
