Prayer For A Job Opportunity
God, I come to you knowing that you know all things and always have my best interest at heart. Lord, I come seeking your guidance today. Help me to understand which career path is right for me right now. I am choosing not to lean unto my own understanding, but to instead acknowledge you, thus allowing you to guide and lead my footsteps.
It can be hard to see the right thing to do from my view within my own circumstances, so I am instead trusting your judgement and your direction to show me what to do and where to go in this season of my life. Give me eyes to see and ears to hear what you would have me to do.
Dear God, I thank you that you have a job for me, and I know that in whatever position you place me, I will be blessed. I am blessed when I come and when I go, and I know that I am above only and not beneath. You have blessed me and called me your own.
I know that my success is found in you and you have given me the ability to perform my job with excellence. It is in you that I receive promotion, increase and success and I thank you that your blessing and favor will be awaiting me at the new job that you have for me.
Dear Lord in Heaven please help my son find a residency this weekhe has worked so hard. He will make such a good doctor but he needs your help. Amen
Lord Jesus Christ, you calmed the wind and waves with your word. As I endure the uncertainty and confusion of a job search, I pray that you would calm my mind in this storm. Fill my heart with your peace and my mind with your wisdom. I praise you for everything you have given me and ask you with humble confidence to provide the right job for me now. Make clear your will for my life. May your grace, the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with me always. In your name, Amen.
Loving Father, your word is a light for my feet, guiding me in the way I should go. As I search for a job, I ask that you would bring illumination that I may see clearly the opportunities that you place before me. Fill my heart with your steadfast love and give me confidence that I can trust you with my future. You have always provided your people with everything they need and I believe that you will provide the right job for me. Fill me with the Holy Spirit, so that I may abound in hope. Father, I lay before you my hopes for a new job opportunity. I give you all of my efforts and work that I have done so far. As I submit this application, I pray that you bless it and guide me toward the right job. May your truth and light bring wisdom to me and to the people who must decide whether to hire me or not. O Heavenly Father, you are the great author of my life. You have given me a wonderful family, my education and all of my blessings. Over my lifetime, you have guided me and shaped me into who I am. I dedicate the next chapter of my life to you and ask for your guidance as I begin it. I pray that you will open up new opportunities and job offers for me. Help me to expand my mind and heart as I work to find success in the world. When I am met with a closed door, I pray that you will help me to find a window instead. Help me to feel hopeful and confident as I begin job interviews at new workplaces. Through it all, I will carry your truth, love and hope with me. May everyone around me feel your glory through my words and actions. Amen.
O Lord, you are the author of my life. Thank you for all you have given me, taught me, and shaped in me so far. I give you this next chapter and ask you would lead me through it. Lord, my prayer is that you would come and open up new job opportunities. Please stretch my mind and enlarge my heart. I give myself into your loving hands and trust that as I push out into different areas that you would open the right doors for me.
