Prayer For Addiction Deliverance
Dear Lord, have compassion on me and help me to overcome alcohol and drug addiction. Set me free from the curse of alcohol and drug addiction that runs through my family line. Look down with compassion for I am ashamed and lost. Free me from the compulsion to use drugs and alcohol. Fill that void with a desire to make a difference in the lives of those that are addicts. Lord, I trust in your mighty power, and I know that you are fighting on my behalf. May my freedom from addiction be a testimony among my friends and family. In Jesus' holy name, I believe and pray. Amen.
Lord, people are losing their lives each day because of addiction. Have Mercy on them, dear God and help them to know their true worth. Deliver them from drugs and alcohol and help them to know the truth that is found in the gospel. Help them to know your son Jesus as their Lord and Savior so that they can be clocked in righteousness and be free from the lies of the enemy. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
God in heaven, I bring everyone that is weighed down with drugs and alcohol addiction before your throne of grace. Free them from addiction and give them the strength to handle the pressures that cause them to fall back into alcoholism and drug abuse. Help them to know that you have forgiven their past, present, and future sins and that they are no longer under condemnation. In Jesus' holy name, I pray. Amen.
Lord, some people are addicted to drugs and alcohol want to quit and live clean lives, but they're finding it hard to stop. They need your divine intervention. Strengthen them in their inner being that they may be able to deal with withdrawal symptoms without falling back into the temptation of using drugs. Make the crooked paths in the recovery journey straight that they may conquer all the setbacks that the enemy has set before them. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
Heavenly Father, your word says that blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly nor stands in the path of sinners. Lord, my son, has become friends with wicked people, and this has led him to become an addict of drugs and alcohol. He has strayed from the path that you have laid out for him and is walking in their evil ways. Father, remove all friends who introduced him to alcoholism and drugs from his life. Connect him with divine helpers that will influence him the right way and help him to become clean. Quench the evil desire of drugs and alcohol from his heart with the blood of Jesus and help him to experience total freedom. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
Lord Jesus, deliver me quickly from the spirit of addiction for I put my trust in you. Deliver me in your righteousness and let me never be ashamed. For your namesake lead me and guide me. Pull me out of the net of alcoholism and drug abuse for you are my strength. May your face shine upon me that I may live a clean life and glorify your name for the rest of my life. Dear God, so many youths are addicted to drugs and alcohol. They believe that addiction is the path that has been laid out for them. But Lord, that is not true because you have great plans for them. The enemy has fed them with lies so that he can keep them imprisoned to drugs and alcohol. Please help them to understand their value and to see themselves the way you see them. Uproot all the lies that the enemy has placed in their hearts about their identity. Lead them in the right path and help them to become free. In Jesus' holy name, I pray. Amen.
Lord, I bring my children into your able hands, they are addicted to drugs and alcohol, and it hurts me to see them waste their lives. They are no longer peaceful children. Drugs and alcohol have turned them into violent people, and this breaks my heart. Father, fill their hearts with peace and please give them instant deliverance from their addictions. I have no one to turn to, but you and I know that those who hope in you will never be ashamed. In Jesus' name, I believe and pray. Amen.
