The earth is the LORD's and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein, for he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers.
Reflection
Everything belongs to God — not just the church buildings and Sunday mornings, but the mountains and oceans, the cities and fields, the people and creatures. This is the ground of stewardship: we care for creation because it belongs to the one we love. On this day, look around at the world God has made and let gratitude for his creation become a prayer of praise.
