Prayer For Your Wife

Jesus, I am so thankful for my wife. Thank You for placing her in my life and allowing me to know her more and more each day. Help me, Jesus, as I work to demonstrate my love to her each day. I want to show her my love through my actions, service, and words, but I get distracted and busy and often forget. Be my reminder, Lord, and help me serve her how I would want her to serve me. Amen.

Heavenly Father, as a husband, I am called to love my wife and care for her daily. While I am not always great at this, teach me how to love like You. I ask for the strength to put my desires second in serving her and the ability to remember to do this even when it is hard. Push me to be more selfless, God. Push me to be more like You. Amen.

Jesus, I pray for my wife. Each day, teach me how to lay my life down for her and live in a way that glorifies You and her. Keep her healthy, Lord, and allow me to create space for her emotional, mental, and spiritual growth in a way that aids her health. Teach me how to build her up rather than break her down. I love You, God. Help me love her the way You love the church. Amen.

Dear Father, I thank You for my wife. She is more precious to me than rubies. I trust her and am so grateful for how much she blesses my life. Today, I come to You especially on her behalf. I pray that You bless herspirit, mind and bodyfor who she is and for all that she does for our family and our home. I thank You that she is smart, hardworking, healthy and prosperous in everything she does. I thank You that she is respected, favored and loved by her family, friends, neighbors and co-workers; and I pray that they see what a treasure she is. I ask that You continue to draw her to You so that she would know how wide, how long, how high and how deep Your love for her is. Though there are many honorable and capable women in the world, I'm so thankful to have my wife with me as my partner, my lover and my friend. I give You all the glory for bringing her into my life and for teaching me every day how to be the husband she needs me to be. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Dear Lord, Show me how to be a better husband. Sometimes I feel that I have lost the love of my wife. We are so often stressed and tired by daily life. We struggle to find the energy to care for each other. Help us to find the excitement and chemistry of our love again. Help us to connect afresh and communicate better. Inspire my heart to be the first to initiate. Inspire my thoughts to surprise her with attention. I give you the hurt I feel inside sometimes. I ask for forgiveness for the times my words or actions hurt her. With you we can always find new beginnings. With you we can remember the good times and renew our love together. You know us both as individuals and as a couple. You are journeying with us in our marriage. Guide us through this season of difficulty into the warmth of summer. Guide our lives to find new adventures to share together. Remind us both of our first love for each other. Remind me to be the first to forgive, The first to love and the first to act. That she may again fall in love with me. Amen.

Heavenly Father, My family are so precious. They are such a joy and such a blessing. Thank you for leading me to marry this wonderful woman and for watching over and guiding our love through the years. Thank you for my children, for the wonderful times we have shared as they have grown and developed within your care. Please watch over them all, keep them so safe and cover them with your everlasting love. Thank you for being Father of us all. Amen.

Dear Lord, Thank you for my wife. Thank you for the privilege of walking hand in hand on life's journey with her. I pray that you would be like a cloak of love around her shoulders, that your truth would guide her every step, and that your hope would leap out of each new breath she takes. Come Lord and enfold her, lift her and guide her into goodness and grace. Each day may I know that you are with us, you are at work in our union and you are weaving your Kingdom into our lives. Amen.
