Prayer For Yemaya
I Pray to the Goddess of the ocean, and mother of life. I do not own the rights to the song.
You who rule the waters, pouring over humankind your protection, O Divine Mother, wash their bodies and their minds, performing a cleansing with your water and instilling in their hearts the respect and veneration due to the force of nature that it symbolizes, let us protect your group of things and what they protect.
We beseech powerful Yemanja, Queen of the waters, to recieve this prayer.
With love and justice, give me the required and necessary strength to withstand everything.
In your sea of nature and harmony, I want to live.
Protect my loved ones from all harm and danger.
Hail Yemanja, Queen of the Sea!
I am the force that swirls beneath the surface,
She who connects Sea and Sky,
the Infinite Mother who reclaims you.
Feel the sand beneath your feet, hold the conch to your ear,
gaze upon My Blue,
and you know Me.
Submit your troubles upon Me,
cast your cares into the heart of the ocean that is Me.
I will nurture you,
wipe your tears,
soothe the anger,
and shelter you from the coming storms.
In your surrender, I become your voice.
In the giving over, I become your freedom.
Daughter, come home, and allow Me
to make whole
that which is incomplete.
Goddess who is Mother of All,
Queen of the Deep Sea,
Protectress of women
Allow your presence to be known throughout this sacred space.
We who call upon you as Yemaya,
Our Mother, Our Womb of Creation,
ask that your love rolls and washes over us
as the waves of the ocean, as the rivers from your breasts.
Yemaya, Mother Whose Children are Fish,
You who are comfort, inspiration, and forgiveness,
We call you forth to enter our hearts.
Oh Divine Yemaya, "bring health and strength to those worthy to receive it. We hope, dear Lady, that through your intercession we receive what we ask for in prayer. Although we know that, because of our faults, we do not deserve what we ask for, we beg you nevertheless to answer our prayers. Amen."
As I stare at your picture, I feel the warmth and love of a mother. I know you are near protecting and guiding your children. I lower my head in respect and admiration; I ask you for your blessings. May God give you permission to cleanse my body and soul with your divine waters and may your divine light shine upon my Earthly path

Invisioning glimmering stars of a story.
Commanding you among the goddesses of waters.
With your laughter, the storm you disarm.
With your kind word, you return the calm.
The breeze of the east brings you gentle life.
Goddess of the sea and the living waters.
Your cheek kissed the beautiful moon; and with
majesty and stars it filled your mind.
The waves carry beautiful roses,
which the waters will hide.
Their aromas are the hope that makes you,
the Goddess of the Sea.
Yemaya, Blessed Mother of the Seas,
Let Your Sacred Waters wash over me.
Mother, embrace me, Your humble child.
Cleanse me, Nurture me, Sustain me.
Yemaya, Beautiful One.
You Who wears the Seven Skirts of the Seven Seas,
Swirl around me and create a flow of energy
that can wash away all bane.
Yemaya, Mistress of the Moon,
Shine Your light onto me,
And fill me with your magic.
Help me to accomplish my goals
Yemaya, Healing Ocean Mother
I ask You to fill me with Your Healing Energy
