Prayer For Victims Of Sex Trafficking
Dear Lord, You demand justice for Your children who have been wronged. Give strength to people who investigate and prosecute traffickers. Encourage them when they are weary. Give courage to survivors when they are asked to testify against their former captors.
Heavenly Father,
We, your children, trust your words in Mathew 11:28: Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. We pray for the liberation of victims who are in bondage to all the various types of Modern Slavery.
They want to be free of their bondage. They are crying out for someone to help them. Please bring freedom to the slaves in the world. Nothing is impossible to you Father. Remove the chains of their oppression. Let the oppressors understand what is just and let them repent for their unjust actions.
Dear Lord, we thank you for your grace as you have provided us everything we need. But we pray for those who do not have enough food, clothes, shelter or means to pay for other necessities. Father, give us generous hearts to share our blessings with others. Help us to understand their needs. Soften our hearts with compassion to help them joyfully.
Lord, you are the strongest tower and mighty shelter. We are safe in you. We thank you for those who have been rescued. Bless your people who worked for their rescue. Bless the children who are experiencing freedom. Please heal the physical and mental wounds of these children. Remind them they are equally important in your sight. Do not let anyone harm them. Make them safe and let them feel safe and secure.
Dear Lord, each morning we experience your love, joy, kindness and hope. We thank you for all these. We pray for our brothers and sisters who have experienced the darkness of life. Make us a channel to show your love and compassion. Help us to counsel and support them so that they can firmly sustain their new life. Lord, each life is precious in your sight. Dear Lord, restore the joy of life to those who became victims of human trafficking. Provide them enough resources to rebuild and reshape their lives. May we rejoice in you always.
Dear Lord, you are the One who rescues from every kind of slavery. You are the Saviour who forgives all our sins and make us a new creation. Lord you are the potter and we are the clay. Mould and shape us to become a witness to that new creation so that others may also seek and experience that life as a new creation.
Dear Lord, you are the Lord of Justice. You love those who walk on the path of justice. We pray for your people who deal with traffickers. Give your wisdom, knowledge and strength to handle the traffickers while investigating them. Give them courage to fight against the wrong. Show them the way to achieve justice for those who have been so wrongly treated. At the same time we pray for the survivors. Protect them from all harm. Give them courage to face their former traffickers and their past experiences. We pray for the people and organizations who are working to assist them to become more than a victim or survivor, but a person who is thriving.
Heavenly Father, we pray for the various governments, civil society organizations and especially the churches and for the people who are involved in this noble task to bring an end to Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking. We pray that all authorities at every level may be supportive, resistant to corruption and bribery and join their hands for the betterment of the survivors. Lord helps us to provide them with a good space in a loving environment, so they can live freely and happily and they can find resources for their rehabilitation.
Dear God, give us new insight to bring these lives who have suffered so much darkness into Your Light. May we be able to stand in unity, as a Church, with them for their freedom and justice.
Heavenly Father, hear our cries as we reach up to you.
Amen
O Lord, you said you came: to set the captives free.
In our world young men and women who are trafficked are modern day slaves.
Help these young people not to lose hope.
Give the grace for elected officials to grow in awareness of and to take active steps to eradicate this horror.
Teach them not to prosecute the victims of trafficking but to bring to justice those who perpetrate this crime.
Lord, give the grace of conversion to those who mistreat unfortunates for their own personal gain.
May demand decrease as people realize that prostitution is a crime against human dignity, forced upon these people, who are more victim than anything else.
May the awareness of this horrendous crime spread throughout the world and may many join the efforts to stop trafficking and help the victims begin anew, filled with hope.
We ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
God of liberation, we pray for all your children who are enslaved by human trafficking. Free them from their bondage, heal them of their wounds, protect them from further harm, turn the hearts of their oppressors, and sustain them with hope for a new beginning in safety and peace. Amen.
Lord, in this moment I stand beside every victim who has been human trafficked
In this moment, I know you bear their excruciating fear, hurt and pain. May they feel your peace and grace wash over them
I pray for justice to be served
I pray for their release from the unbearable dehumanization, anguish and humiliation they feel
I pray for their liberation from being held captive against their will, and by your grace for Good Samaritans to restore their lives
I pray for the healing of victims and for their loved ones
I pray as part of a united, worldwide movement for the empowerment and ability of all Churches, of all religions, International and Civil Society Organisations, Governments, National Authorities, Business Communities, and People of Good Will everywhere to put an end to human trafficking
I pray never to forget what it feels like to be in this moment; to stand in solidarity with victims of human trafficking consumed with fear and pain
I pray you will use me in some way to help end this human tragedy
Lord I have faith that your presence, your love, and your spiritual embrace will always be with the victims of human trafficking
Lord God, heavenly King, almighty God and Father, hear my prayer
Amen
Loving Father,
We seek your divine protection for all who are exploited and enslaved.
For those forced into labor, trafficked into sexual slavery, and denied freedom.
We beseech you to release them from their chains.
Grant them protection, safety, and empowerment.
Restore their dignity and provide them a new beginning.
Show us how we might end exploitation by addressing its causes.
Help us reach out in support of victims and survivors of human trafficking.
Make us instruments of your spirit for their liberation.
For this we pray through our Lord Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen
God of freedom, beauty and truth
we believe that your deepest desire,
your most powerful energy,
is that all creation might know abundant life.
We raise our voices in anguished prayer
for our sisters and brothers,
women and girls, men and boys,
who are modern day slaves;
They are your beloved daughters and sons,
exploited sexually or forced to work
because of human violence and greed.
Fill us with your holy anger and your sacred passion
that those who are trafficked might know healing and justice;
that traffickers will come to repentance and conversion;
that all of us might live in such a way
that others are not made to pay the price
for our comfort and convenience.
Hasten the coming of the day when all people
and our precious Earth itself
will be treated, not as a commodity,
but as radiant images of your freedom, beauty and truth.
Amen. May it be so.
Dear Lord, just as You helped Moses and Aaron as they spoke boldly to Pharaoh on behalf of the Hebrew slaves in Egypt, help us speak up for modern-day slaves around the world. We pray that through our actions we can help bring an end to human trafficking.
