Prayer For The United States
Father, have mercy on our country. We admit that we have been a sinful nation weighted down with iniquity. In Your great compassion, please blot out the stains of the sins of our nation. Wash us clean from our guilt and purify us from our sins. Holy Spirit, touch the heart of the American Christian church to be a light that sits upon the hill in our country. Stir the hearts of every American Christian to represent Your love and grace in their daily living. Convict those Christians who are lukewarm and give them the courage and joy to stand for holiness and righteousness. Father, continue to pour out Your Holy Spirit on our nation and please do not turn Your face away from us. Cause Your peace to dwell in our nation. We ask You to help Mayor Bill White, Governor Rick Perry, and President George Bush. Increase Your wisdom, knowledge, confidence and peace in them. Guide all of our local, state, and national leaders. Help them in their personal and professional lives. Holy Spirit, alert us about dangerous weather patterns so that we may speak peace over them. Please sustain the prayer movements in our nation and increase the effectiveness of our prayers.
O God our Creator,
from your provident hand we have received
our right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
You have called us as your people and given us
the right and the duty to worship you, the only true God,
and your Son, Jesus Christ.
Through the power and working of your Holy Spirit,
you call us to live out our faith in the midst of the world,
bringing the light and the saving truth of the Gospel
to every corner of society.
We ask you to bless us
in our vigilance for the gift of religious liberty.
Give us the strength of mind and heart
to readily defend our freedoms when they are threatened;
give us courage in making our voices heard
on behalf of the rights of your Church
and the freedom of conscience of all people of faith.
Grant, we pray, O heavenly Father,
a clear and united voice to all your sons and daughters
gathered in your Church
in this decisive hour in the history of our nation,
so that, with every trial withstood
and every danger overcome
for the sake of our children, our grandchildren,
and all who come after us
this great land will always be one nation, under God,
indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Lord, let this country be a place of refuge from atrocities, cruelty and horrors. Help us fight injustice and change circumstances within our own country that lead to sexual trafficking, homelessness, crime, abuse, addiction, mental illness, unwanted pregnancy, and poverty. Teach us as individual churches how to provide sanctuarythe safe placepeople need, and through Your people, bring hope into hopeless situations.
Dear Lord, let us know who You are and act like we belong to You. Jesus said that by our unitythe unity of those who belong to Godpeople will know that the gospel is true. Help us to act like You. Transform us so that we become like You. Teach us Your wisdom and kindness, generosity and compassion, empathy and love. Transform us so that we can transform the communities we live in.
God our Father,
Giver of life,
we entrust the United States of America to Your loving
care.
You are the rock on which this nation was founded.
You alone are the true source of our cherished rights to
life,
liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Reclaim this land for Your glory and dwell among Your
people.
Send Your Spirit to touch the hearts of our nations
leaders.
Open their minds to the great worth of human life
and the responsibilities that accompany human freedom.
Remind Your people that true happiness is rooted in
seeking
and doing Your will.
Through the intercession of Mary Immaculate,
Patroness of our land,
grant us the courage to reject the "culture of death."
Lead us into a new millennium of life.
We ask this through Christ Our Lord.

Heavenly Father,
I come before You in the Name of Jesus on behalf of the United States of America. I declare upon Jesus this nation was founded and the gates of hell shall not prevail. Your Word declares that Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, therefore the United States of America is BLESSED!
I acknowledge that the United States has sinned and turned from You, Heavenly Father. Your Word says that where sin abounds, grace does much more abound. I speak Grace, Grace to the mountain of sin in our land and it becomes a leveled plain. You said in Your Word that if Your people would turn from their wicked ways and pray, that You would heal the land. So Lord I join others throughout our country and the world and repent for the sins of this nation. Thank You for healing our land.
Now I pray for a shield of divine protection over this country and over all Americans everywhere. I ask for divine discernment for the uncovering of all terrorist activities directed at the United States. I rebuke the spirit of fear and terror. Its assignment is broken off this country.
I pray for all government officials national, state and local. I call forth men and women into service to our government who have revelation of Your love for them, and who will govern according to Your Word. I pray for believers in the United States of America to vote based on Your Word and not according to the political/economic conditions that exist. I pray for our President, Congress and the Supreme Court. I ask you to direct their hearts and minds to make righteous decisions. I also ask You to remove from positions of authority all those who stand against righteous rule and replace them with men and women who will follow You.
I pray for all of those in the military, wherever they are. I plead the Blood of Jesus over each one, and, for those in harm's way I declare that the ministering angels surround them to keep them in all their ways. I pray for all military commanders that they hear from heaven and do whatever they hear You say to do.
I pray for all first responders in our country police, EMTs and firemen for their protection and safety as they serve our citizenry. I declare ministering angels are released round about them to keep them in all their ways.
I pray for ministering angels to be released to protect our country's borders, its electric grid, cyber network, transportation system, water system and food supply.
In these final hours of the last days, I ask for the release of the gifts and demonstrations of the Holy Spirit the working of miracles, signs and wonders to be in strong operation in our land.
I declare that the Unites States will continue to be a major exporter of the Good News of the Gospel throughout the world. Thank you, Lord, that Your Glory is revealed in the United States and through the United States to other nations.
Your Word says declare a thing and it shall be established. I declare that the future of the United States of America is even greater than her past. God Bless America!!!

Loving Lord, I come to You to place the once great nation of United States of America at Your feet, knowing that our great country and it's constitution was made for a moral and religious people and is wholly inadequate for any other form of government, and yet we have strayed so far from the principles and practices of our great founders, who drew up our constitution based on Your Word.
But Lord, although this was once the land of the brave and the home of the free, sadly there is so much that is wrong with our country that I fear for its future. Lord, as a people we have walked away from You and discredited Your holy name by the way that we have conducted ourselves over the past few years and there is no health in our land.
Look down in pity on our people and our land, and protect us from those that seem determined on destroying our nation. Send Your Spirit I pray, through the land of America, and touch the hearts of all those that are called by Your name to plead on behalf our people. Convict those that are damaging our infrastructure and as a nation may we turn away from our wicked ways and return You to Your rightful position, in integrity and truth.
