Prayer For The President
Father, together we pray for our nations leaders to find Your peace and direction, and for these men and women to act and lead according to Your Word. A house divided within cannot stand, therefore, I pray for them to be unified in righteousness for the sake of our nation.
Lord Jesus, tear down all these demonic oppositions against the restoration of our country so we can have a place to live that is peaceful and in order. Oh Holy Spirit anoint our President's hand and divinely protect him, create a shield and hedge of protection over him and break every scheme and tactics that the devil plans and turn it all around for good.
Dear God, I stand in the gap for our President. He is old. He goes to many places, attend meetings, discussions, making plans and ways to fix old and new problems not just one area but our entire nation.
Dear Father, in Jesus' name I lift up the President to You, I know that our leader's heart is in Your hands, so I ask that you guide the head of our nation to the way You would have him go. Father, I pray that You would surround our President with wise counsel men and women of integrity who place Your agenda and the good of this nation above their own and whose motives are for that which is right. I pray that You would give our leader discernment, understanding and knowledge so that our nation may know stability internally and abroad. I give thanks for our President according to Your Word and thank You for working in and through his leadership so that we might lead peaceable lives in godliness and honesty.
When others tempt our president to embrace arrogant power rather than humble service, give him an undivided heart. Help the president to stand firm, knowing that You will fight his battles with him. May He begin His day with You and Your Word, with gratitude and praise for the honor You have given to him. Throughout the day may Your Spirit remind him of his purpose and of Your love for him. And when the night arrives, calm his heart with the peace that passes all understanding as he purposes to keep trusting and obeying You, no matter what the cost. As You surround our president with godly counselors, give him accountability to them and the people he serves, but first and foremost to You. Bless him with joy when righteousness and goodness prevail. But give him a heart that weeps for the injustices and sorrows around him.
Guard our President against unfair criticism and unfounded accusations. When he stumbles, give him the courage to admit his mistakes. Strengthen his character, guard him against hurtful compromise, and give him a listening ear for the people he serves. In danger, surround him and our country with Your angel protection. From the time he begins in office until his time is complete, may the president serve you and our country as a true leader with an undying love, an unswerving faith, and an unending hope in the only One who can make our country great. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Lord, no matter who is leading our country as President, we offer our prayers on behalf of his/her position. Draw him into a strong relationship with You. Thank You for this one who has pledged his life in service to our country. Give our president a true servant spirit, one who is a person after Your own heart. Anoint him with the Holy Spirit's power, that he might feel Your strength in every situation. Let integrity and honesty guide every decision as He first looks to You for divine help. Turn his heart from distractions and temptations that could bring harm rather than help to his life, his family, and to the people he serves. Make him a leader in every respect, morally and spiritually strong. Enlighten the president's mind with discernment, wisdom, and fairness.
God, I want to pray for our President. I ask that You give him a healthy mind and body, so that while he is in office he can perform the duties of his job. Grant him compassion, wisdom, and discernment so that he can make the decisions we need him to make
