Prayer For The Pope
O Lord, turn Thyself toward us with eyes of pity; for we are now, as it were, forgetful of ourselves, and are praying above all for him. Do Thou unite our prayers with his and receive them into the bosom of Thine infinite mercy, as a sweet savor of active and fruitful charity, whereby the children are united in the Church to their Father. All that he asks of Thee this day, we too ask it of Thee in union with him.
O Lord, we are the millions of believers, humbly kneeling at Thy feet and begging Thee to preserve, defend and save the Sovereign Pontiff for many years. He is the Father of the great fellowship of souls and our Father as well. On this day, as on every other day, he is praying for us also, and is offering unto Thee with holy fervoUr the sacred Victim of love and peace.
Almighty and Everlasting God, have mercy on Your servant , our Supreme Pontiff, and direct him, according to Your loving kindness, in the way of eternal salvation, that with Your help he may ever desire that which is pleasing to You and accomplish it with all his strength. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Lord Jesus:
You have made us Your body, Your Church,
And help us to bear fruit for our heavenly Father.
You chose St. Peter as the rock,
And sent him to feed Your flock
And to strengthen his brothers and sisters,
Continue to help Your Church
Through the guidance of our Pope,
And keep us faithful in Your service.
You are Lord for ever and ever.

Lord, source of eternal life and truth, give to Your shepherd, the Pope, a spirit of courage and right judgement, a spirit of knowledge and love.We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
Heavenly Father, I begin this day immersed in your loving and merciful gaze. Help me to offer you my works, joys and sufferings this day. May the Holy Spirit open my heart to the needs of others, especially the Pope's monthly intention. Amen

O God, Shepherd and Ruler of all Thy faithful people, look mercifully upon Thy
servant N, whom Thou hast chosen as shepherd to preside over Thy Church. Grant
him, we beseech Thee, that by his word and example, he may edify those over
whom he hath charge, so that together with the flock committed to him, may he
