Prayer For The Perfect Season
Dear Heavenly Father, just when we settle into a pattern, things change far too quickly. one door opens: another closes. We rise, we eat we sleep. we smile, we laugh, we cry. May the season of change feel me forward. In jesus name. Amen
Dear Father God,
Thank You for Your unfailing love for me, Your blessings, and goodness. Thank You for Your faithfulness to guide me and see me through times of uncertainty, for lifting me up, and setting me on high. Thank You for Scripture
that comforts and reminds me of Your promises, plan, and provision. Amen.
Father of all, you have formed the entire human family over many generations. Give us a new familial care for each of the creatures you have made, indeed for all life on our planet. Lord, hear us.
Creator God, we ask for the grace to hear the cry of the earth' and in so doing to care for creation. In giving us a new spirit of listening, transform our hearts with a desire to respond. Lord, hear us.
Thank you, Lord, for loverly spring,
For flowers, bees and birds that sing.
With rainbows in the sky above,
You shower me with all your love Amen
Creator God, You know that patience does not come easily to me. So I thank You for David's testimony to the value of waiting patiently for You to act. Too often my initial reaction is to try to solve my problems on my own. Grant me the patience and renew my strength to wait for You and Your direction.
Lord, remind me this is only a season. For every time there is a purpose and I will not be in this storm forever. This storm will pass and the sun will shine again. For there is a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to be silent and a time to speak. Though this may be a time of difficulty, a time of peace and joy may be around the corner. I will trust in your time and your plans. Amen.
God of light, by whose Spirit all things are made new,
we praise you for the gift of life, for the blessing of a new season,
for the mercy that makes each day a fresh start.
Grant us the strength to walk in your light,
the grace to experience your presence with us,
and the hope that comes from being made new in Christ.
