Prayer For Someone Sick With Cancer
Lord, my eternal relationship with You began from the moment I first believed. I don't need to work for it, and I don't need to hope it will come to pass someday. My life in You is a done deal. It is not based on my feelings, my struggles, or even this cancer. I have life only because I have You! In You, I live and move and have my very existence. Thank You for Your assurance that I am Your child and You will never leave or forsake me. Help me to comprehend what this new life in You actually means, through good times and bad, in health and in sickness. Thank You, Lord, the Giver of Life!
Lord, You have taught me that faith as small as a mustard seed can grow into an amazing tree.
Today I give you my little seed of faith. I place it firmly in the ground of your word. I water it with truth. The warmth of your love will make it grow. Today I ask by faith that you would bring healing from this cancer. I place my trust in you. May this seed sow healing into every area where the tumor has emerged...
God of healing mercy, in Jesus your Son you stretch out your hand in compassion, restoring the sinner, healing the sick, and lifting up those bowed down. Embrace us now in your loving care, particularly those afflicted with cancer, for whom this intention is offered. May the Spirit of Jesus bring us all health in soul and body, that with joy and thanksgiving we may praise you for your goodness...
Heavenly Father, Give all cancer fighters comfort when they are in pain. Lay your healing hand on all and remove every cancer cell so that they may be healed! Amen
May God heal me, body and soul. May my pain cease, may my strength increase, may my fears be released, May blessings, love, and joy surround me. Amen.
Almighty God,
Who gives mighty oceans commands and yet created the fragile wings of a butterfly.
Nothing is beyond your grasp.
You order the universe and give birds flight,
And yet you asked us to call you Abba Father.
You know each one of us and understand every detail of our lives.
So come, come with the power and authority of the waves
And wash my friend with healing.
Come, with the beauty and gentleness of a butterfly
Bring calm to this mind and peace to this body.
I come, with your gift of faith
And ask for you to take my prayers and fill them with your redemptive touch,
Restoration power
And great love.
Amen.
Dearest Father, thank you that you love us and minister to us by your Spirit released into our hearts by the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. You are Lord of Heaven and Earth, the creator of all and the giver of life. You renew the Earth and every heartbeat and breath comes from you. So, I lift those battling with cancer to you and I pray for them now. Help me to be a channel to bring your healing touch here on Earth. Lord, I trust in your name, the highest name, holy, true and just. I pray out the cancer cells, the imbalanced growth and illness in the name of Jesus. I remain in your promises, I await your touch and I long for your intervention. Thank you that you are powerful and mighty. One word from you brings transformation and nothing is outside of your authority and amazing love. I declare to the powers of darkness that Jesus is alive! Thank you that he has triumphed over all darkness with healing in his wings. In the name of the most wonderful! Amen.
Lord Jesus, I declare in your name that cancer will not steal this life, there will be restoration and healing! I proclaim freedom from cancer cells, I pray against their multiplication and growth and from the transference of these cells to different areas of the body. I prophesy a new balance. I command the cells that have grown in the wrong place to diminish, to fade and to vanish into nothing. I sing out life over and through the body of my friend. May light fill their minds, may hope fill their thoughts and may your love expand in their hearts. I know that you died and rose again so that cancer could be overcome, that it was taken to the cross and left there. I wait, holding my dear friend in prayer, focused on you my Saviour, expectant and in faith! I pray all this in your glorious name. Amen.
