Prayer For Sick Children
Jesus,
You're with us.
Though you are not seen,
We know that you stay by our side.
Jesus,
You love us,
More than we could know,
And you feel each tear that we cry.
Jesus,
We trust you,
To take hold of our hands,
Until we're recovered and well.
Jesus,
You promise to,
Comfort and care,
Until we are laughing and playing again.
Thank you Jesus.

St. Gerard, who, like the Savior, loved children so tenderly and by your prayers freed many from disease and even death, listen to us who are pleading for our sick child. We thank God for the great gift of our son/daughter and ask Him to restore our child to health if such be His holy will. This favour, we beg of you through your love for all children and mothers.
Oh Lord our God, this life threatening illness has wreaked havoc on this little baby and it is so distressing to see them so very sick. There is no one but You to whom we may turn, and so we come to plead Your intervention in this sickness, and ask that You restore them to full health and strength.
Lord, give grace to the parents, knowing that this life threatening sickness has caused them so much concern and worry, and we ask Your special comfort to surround them and Your strength to support them so that they may not be tossed about by many negative thoughts, but be enabled to care for their child with clarity of thought and wisdom.
Remove all the pain that this little one is suffering, and keep both parents and child from fearful thoughts. May they set the thoughts of their mind on You, trusting their precious little baby into Your safe-keeping, and may the peace of God guard their hearts and Your reassuring comfort flood their soul. This we ask in Jesus' name,

Dear Heavenly Father, what a joy the birth of a new little baby brings and we thank You for the safe delivery of this little life, and ask You to pour out Your special blessing upon them and the whole family.
We thank You for the gift of children and the joy that they bring into the lives of so many, and we offer You this new-born baby and entrust their little life into Your safe-keeping.
Guard and protect this little one, we pray. Enfold them in Your love and grace, and we ask that in Your grace and mercy, that the light of Your love would shine into their little life and that one day they would come to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name we pray,

Saint Nicholas, who like the Savior,
loved children so tenderly and gave generously to those in need,
listen to us who plead for this sick child
who is so dear to our hearts.
We thank God for the great gift of our child
and we pray that He relieve this child of pain
and free him/her from suffering.
Obtain strength when he/she is weary,
hope when discouraged,
and joy when downhearted.
May the Lord, through your intercession,
restore perfect health if such be His divine will.
These favors, we beg of you through your love for all children.

Lord I come to You today to present (child's name) to You. This very deadly sickness that is upon him/her is very sad to all who know and love him/her. I know that in times like this his/her Mommy and Daddy are in despair. Please keep them strong in You so that they can be a comfort to this dear little child. Please keep (child's name) from being scared of what is happening all around him/her. I ask Your mercy so that pain would be minimal or nonexistence. I love this small and fragile little child. Bestow Your grace and peace to them and all who love them. I pray this in Jesus name, Amen.
Dear Heavenly Father, You are a God Who has a special place for babies and young children in Your tender heart, and You know that we live in a fallen world where many babies and young children are often in danger, not only from external issues but even from those that care for them. And so we ask for Your loving protection to surround all babies and young children, and that You keep each one free from harm.
And so we entrust all vulnerable young children and tiny babies into Your loving hands for safe keeping, and pray that nothing evil will befall any one of them, and that they will be lovingly protected from any physical harm or emotional trauma.
Thank You, Lord, for hearing and answering prayer. May this generation of babies and toddlers grow up desiring to know more of You in the days that lie ahead. This we ask in Jesus' name,

O Lord God, I come to You for help and succor.
Give me grace to bear my child's affliction with patience and strength.
Bless me, O Father, and restore my child [child's name] to health.
Do not forsake us, but give us an assurance of Your loving Kingdom.
