Prayer For Short Term Mission Trip
Dear Lord, as this family goes to serve you, whether it be in a foreign land or even just to another area of their own country, please keep their relationship strong. I ask that you remind them that they are very special to one another, especially while they are serving you in this manner. Please also protect and provide for the family and friends that they have left behind. Help them to look forward to the next time they are able to see one another. Remind them to pray too because You love to hear from Your children. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
Lord I pray that my brethren are strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. I pray that they put on the whole armour of God, that they may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. I also pray that they take on the whole armour of God, that they may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having their loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And their feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith they shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. This is my prayer for these precious servants, in Jesus name, Amen

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You that You have everything for the upcoming mission trip already all mapped out, even before we thought of going.
Thank You for preparing the hearts that will serve You and all the wonderful testimonies You have planned for Your glory.
We pray for unity amongst the mission trip members and those we serve. May we use our spiritual gifts to support each other as we act as one of heart. May we also be quick to listen to one another and resolve misunderstandings. While we know that You will protect us, we pray that our team will stay alert to any spiritual attacks and dangers.
1 Peter 4:10 ESV As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace:
Teach us to be joyful, patient and attentive as Your Holy Spirit leads us.
2 Corinthians 9:7 ESV Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
May we always walk under Your shadow and never run ahead or behind You. We are in awe that You have called us into Your ministry of reconciling people to you.
2 Corinthians 5:19 ESV that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
We will follow You wherever Your Spirit leads us and ask for Your continued protection over our health, families, and ministry plans. With You in the lead, there is no fear!
Deuteronomy 1:29-31 ESV Then I said to you, Do not be in dread or afraid of them. The Lord your God who goes before you will himself fight for you, just as he did for you in Egypt before your eyes, and in the wilderness, where you have seen how the Lord your God carried you, as a man carries his son, all the way that you went until you came to this place.'
Thank You that You use weak vessels to shine Your love in the darkness, so that people will see You when they look at those of us who serve. Please remind us to bask in Your deep, rich and everlasting love, and to rejoice as we serve You.
2 Corinthians 4:7 NLT We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves.
Our hands and hearts are open to receive from You, our King, Friend and Saviour.

Father God, I thank you for the opportunity for _______ to serve you on the mission field. I thank you that _______has taken your commission of Matthew 28:18 to go into all the world preaching the gospel and leading people to you Lord to heart and is actually doing something to fulfill this great commission. Father I ask that you would first provide for ________ miraculously. Cover all the costs of this trip over and above and let it be in abundance so that _________ will be able to bless others on the trip as well as the churches and places that he/she will visit while on this trip. I pray that you will give ________ a submissive heart to authority and bring the unity of the spirit and the bond of peace among the entire group. Let the mind that is in Christ be also in all of them. Let none do anything out of selfish ambition but that they will all look to the well being of others. Give them a servant's heart and spirit as you had Jesus. I pray that your Holy Spirit will lead and guide them along the way. Reveal your spiritual gifts to __________ that you have placed within him/her to be used for your glory. Cause ________ to be your hands and feet Jesus ministering to the least of these. I pray for divine healing Jehovah Rapha and good health throughout the entire trip. Make _______ mindful of what he/she is eating. Reveal your purpose for ______ on this trip. May he/she be fully aware of Your purpose and be used to the fullness of it. Make your giftings abound to carry out the purpose. May he/she submit to your spirit and give honor and glory to your name at all times. No weapons that are ever formed against _____ on this trip shall prosper and any tongue that would rise up against him/her in judgement will be condemned. May your warring angels surround this group every day on this trip and be with them going and coming. Watch over them Lord from their rising up to their laying down. Grant them all peace and a successful trip, in Jesus Name, Amen.
God, we ask today that during our time in Belize and even now that You would help us to walk in boldness. We ask that You increase our boldness and confidence in You as the One who can do all things. Lord, let us not cower from tough situations or hold back when You ask us to do something challenging but help us to just go for it with radical obedience to everything You give ask of us. In Jesus' name we pray!
Dear Father,
We pray your help and blessings on the members of the mission trip. Thank you that each person is taking time out of their busy lives to serve You by serving others. Thank you that You have spoken to their hearts and that they are willing to venture outside of their homes, neighborhoods and comfort zones. Keep them strong mentally, physically and spiritually. Give them safe travels, energy and enthusiasm and an ability to be flexible when plans change.
May their arrival at their destination be a sign of Your love to those they serve. Help the smiles and hugs and acts of friendship of the mission team members clearly communicate acceptance and comfort to those hungry for You. May they be true ambassadors for Christ through their actions both on and off the job, both with those they serve and with their fellow team members.
Romania luggage We pray that this trip will be extremely successful in strengthening the faith of every team member. Increase their trust in You as they leave their responsibilities and worries about their families and lives back home in Your watchful care. As they see and experience different ways of life, give them new perspective on their lives and about the things that really matter most. Give them the joy of service. Strengthen their faith and reliance on You. Enable them to graciously and humbly receive small gifts of great magnitude given to them by those who have little yet who are moved to give sacrificially. May each team member strongly feel Your Holy Spirit at work in them and through them.
And so Father, we ask that you bless the mission project, the team members and leaders, those they serve and the team member's families back home. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity to actively work in a meaningful way in Your wonderful Kingdom.

Father, we desire that nothing gets in the way of Your will being done on this trip. If there's anything within us that needs to be dealt with, please show us and we'll give it to You to be cleared out of our hearts. Holy Spirit, we ask that You would convict us so we can repent and that You would empower us to walk in righteousness.
Forgive us Lord for allowing anything to keep us from operating at the highest level we can with You. By the power of Your Holy Spirit we shake off every hindrance, fear, insecurity and anything else that has tried to hold us back from serving You faithfully with excellence in everything we do. In Jesus' name!
