Prayer For Siblings To Get Along

Heavenly Father, You have blessed me with precious grandchildren, and I am ever so grateful! I pray for these little souls, Lord. I also want to thank you for my own children. I have raised them up to praise You, and to look to You in all things. I lift up my grandchildren to You today, Lord. These little ones are precious gems in Your eyes, as well as in mine, and that of our family. Please watch over them each and every day. Keep them safe, and guide them in all that they do. I ask these things in Your precious name. Amen.

Heavenly Father, there is a war going on in the souls of many of my family members. I will not be silent about this, and I pray that you will look after them. I also come to you today to pray for the salvation of my family as well. Lord, may my family know You. I pray that they will learn to crave You just as I do. I pray that they will learn to stand strong in the face of trials and tribulations in life. When people knock them down, I pray that they stand up even stronger in You than ever before. I pray that they show love instead of revenge on those who do not agree with them. Give me strength to persevere through any troubles that come my way today. It is time to rise above the sin that comes at me and to that of my family members. It is in Your precious name I pray these things.

Lord, I ask for protection and safety over my spouse, my children, my parents, my family members and myself today. Please lead us with Your mighty hands today and always. Deliver us from any enemy and evil that try to hinder our way. Do not let the ways of the enemy blind our eyes. We know that You are for us, so that no one could ever stop us. Please watch over us and guide us all safely throughout this day, so that we may all arrive safely back home, Father. Amen.

Father, We have gathered to share a meal in Your honor. Thank You for putting us together as family, and thank You for this food. Bless it to our bodies, Lord. We thank you for all of the gifts you've given to those around this table. Help each member of our family use these gifts to your glory. Guide our mealtime conversations and steer our hearts to Your purpose for our lives. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Dear Father, in Your beautiful book of Psalms, chapter 103 and verse 17, You give us this wonderful promise, From everlasting to everlasting the Lord's love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children's children. What better promise could we receive from You in our lives than to see our children and children's children blessed with Your love and righteousness? We ask for Your hand of blessing on us as well. Bless us with strength to be there for those we love, and wisdom to know what to say to bring comfort, encouragement, and sometimes difficult truth. We will need Your patience as we wait for Your perfect will and way in each of our loved one's lives. We are so grateful, Lord God. Amen.

Lord, thank you so much for all you do for me. You have blessed me in more ways than I can count and in so many more ways than I probably even know. Every day you stand beside me, comforting me, supporting me, protecting me. I have every reason to be grateful for my faith and for the ways you have blessed me. I ask you to continue to bless me and guide me in my day to day life. Yet that is not the only reason I come before you in prayer at this moment.

Lord, today I am asking you to bless my brother. He is so close to my heart, and I want only the best for him. I ask, Lord, that you work in his life to make him a better man of God. Bless every step he takes so that he can be a light unto others. Guide him in the right direction when he is faced with making the right choice or the wrong one. Give him the friends and family members that will point him toward you and what you want for his life, and give him the discerning mind to know who is giving him Your advice.

Lord, I know that my brother and I do not always get along. Actually, we can fight like no two other people. But I ask that you take these disagreements and turn them toward something that draws us closer together. I ask that we not just argue, but that we make up and become closer than we were before. I also ask you to put a greater amount of patience on my heart for the things he does that normally set me off. I also ask that you give him more patience in dealing with me and the things I do to irritate him. I want us to grow older with happy memories of one another.

And Lord, I ask that you bless his future. As he moves forward in his life, I ask that you guide him down the path you've built for him and that you give him joy in walking down that path. I ask that you bless him with good friends, fellow students, and co-workers and that you give him the love he so dearly deserves.

Thank you, Lord, for always being here for me and listening to me as I speak. Lord, I ask that I continue to have your ear and that my heart is always open to your voice. Thank you, Lord for all of my blessings, and may I continue to live a life that makes you smile and gives you nothing but joy.

In your holy name, I pray, Amen.

Father God, come into my daughter's hearts, remind them who they are and remove their selfish pride. Help them to soften towards one another, to let go and forgive as you forgive. Convict them of any wrong doing that is not right in your eyes, fill them with an overwhelming love for each other and a distaste for the things of this world, stir up your word in their hearts so they may seek to glorify you and grant them peace with each other and renewed love for us all.

In your precious name, Jesus I pray,
Love, your daughter

Father God, thank You for each of my children. I pray that You would give them a desire to protect the bond of unity among themselves (Romans 15:5). Help them be devoted to each other in brotherly love and honor one another above themselves (Romans 12:9-10).

Lord, inspire my children to work together for the good of the other, living and growing in harmony each day. Help them be compassionate and humble in the way they do life together. When squabbles arise, spur them toward reconciliation so the friction may be dissolved quickly and in ways that benefit both parties. Help them be self-controlled and wise in their words and actions toward each other (1 Peter 3:8-9). Lord, where there is unity You bestow blessings and life (Psalm 133:1,4). I pray this would be so for my children's relationships throughout their whole lives.

Father, teach my children how to be patient and kind to each other. Do not let envy or pride take root in their hearts. Keep them from dealing rudely or angrily with each other. Help them forgive wholly and completely not letting grudges or bitterness sour their hearts against each other. Lord, help my children protect their family ties, trust each other, hope for the best for each other, and persevere in building each other together in love and truth (1 Corinthians 13:4-8). In Jesus' name, Amen.
