Prayer For Serious Illness
Lord,
Look upon me with eyes of mercy.
May you healing hand rest upon me, may your life-giving powers flow into every cell of my body and into the depth of my soul; cleaning, purifying, restoring me to wholeness and strength for service in your Kingdom
Amen.
May you have rest and peace in your heart.
May angels surround your bed through the night.
May each day bring healing with the dawn,
Restore your energy, and heal your wounds.
May hope remain within your heart,
As you find new strength and make a new start.
I pray you'll soon be well,
To love and live and enjoy life again.
Amen.
Dear Lord,
I pray that you would give me strength to be strong for You in the world today.
Lord, you know the struggles that I will face today.
Be with me as I go through them.
Carry me if I am too weak to move.
If I stumble in them, forgive me Father.
When I succeed in them, I will praise You! You are worthy of all praise and honor.
Amen.
Lord,
In Your goodness, help me to grow in faith and hope each day and trust in the future You have prepared for me.
Lift me out of my depression, and hold me close to your healing grace. As we walk together during each moment of my recovery, teach me to place my worries and doubts in your hands. Replace the dark cloud of depression
with true joy found in You alone.
Thank You for my life, for the unseen blessings You've given me, and for being with me always.

My heart holds a prayer that carries you friend So close to God's loving heart. I lay out my hope that you'll know his touch, And be healed by the Lord above. So I trust in our Abba Father to comfort you when you cry, and bless the hands of the medical teams that care for you each day and night. I wish I could be beside you always, to hold your hand and pray. So I'm sending my love, my thoughts and my faith, to be with you my wonderful friend.
Dear God,
Dispel my fear. End my anxiety. Wipe worry from my mind. May the one I care about find good health and complete recovery. Make known the healing power of Your hands. Give comfort and shelter beneath Your wings. Grant
restorative sleep tonight and safe passage to tomorrow.

Father,
Your love is as wide as the oceans, as deep as the sea, and as tall as the heavens. May your spirit rise like a mighty wave and come and restore those who are ill. You are the water of life. You are a fresh spring.
You are healing rain to all those who are in need.
Come, Lord!
Heavenly Father,
We lift up all those who are facing various illnesses. Give them the hope and courage they need today and every day. Comfort their pain, calm their fears, and surround them with Your peace.
