Prayer For Preschool Teachers
May the words of our mouths, and the meditations of our hearts, Be always acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, our strength and our redeemer. Amen.
Thank you for my teacher who
is nice and funny and kind.
They could be doing lots of
other jobs. But I suppose she
wants to teach children like me. I
think that is great. Please
give lots of good blessings to
my teacher. And help all of
the students to be good and
to pay attention and enjoy learning
Amen.
Lord, when my feet hit the pavement in the parking lot, remind me why I'm there. Help my heart to smile and my mouth speak peace. Let my arms be soft and my attitude stern. Fill my room with laughter and love. Let each child feel special and important. Allow me work in your grace and mercy. Show yourself in my actions and in my words. Help me reveal you to them. Help me be the best three year old teacher those kids will ever encounter. . . Amen
Dear Lord,
Thank you for the gift of good teachers. Thank You for men and women willing to take on the responsibility of shaping the next generation of thinkers and doers.
As the school year starts, grant them strength and courage to face what lies ahead.
Spark their imaginations with ways to reach even the most difficult learner.
When the days are long and the challenges seem too many, grant them peace.
When things go smoothly, let them see Your guiding hand and give You thanks.
When they're spending their money to make my child's learning environment more successful and enjoyable, grant them treasures in Heaven.
Please, Lord, give them the grace they need to see You in every preschooler, grade schooler and high-schooler.
Help them respond to the individual needs of each child to the best of their ability.
Protect them from harm, but make them brave and knowledgeable in times of crisis.
May they find strength for the journey in each smile, hug, high five, and newly learned skill.
I know that their job is often a thankless and incredibly demanding one. Help me to support them the best that I can so that my child will know how much I value his/her education and the hard work of others.
Please bless the vocations of my child's teachers, coaches, administrators, and school staff. Help them truly know what a difference they make in the lives of each child they encounter.
And at the end of each day, may they find rest and replenishment to rise and do it all again tomorrow.

Dear God,
We pray that you would remind each of our teachers of the incredible ability they have to make a difference in the life of a child, every single day. Give them fresh vision that what they do is so important, because
they are a part of building greatness in our world through the next generation. Give them laughter and fun in every day, and encouragement in the times when they're battling weariness or defeat. We pray that you would draw
every teacher closer to you; and fill them with your Spirit each morning. Give them all that they need for each day Lord - your grace, your calling, your compassion and love. Amen.
Dear God,
Thank you for your great faithfulness and the confidence we can have that you are fully trustworthy. Please give our teachers the ability to trust you more in every circumstance they may encounter this year, even when things seem uncertain, or out of their control. And in the moments when they feel like there's just not enough time to do all they need to accomplish, we ask that you would multiply their hours and give success to their efforts, for we know that you are able to do much more in a day that we ever could work out all on our own.

Dear God,
We pray for your peace and covering over this day and for the whole year ahead. We thank you in advance for all that you have in store for every teacher, every child, and every classroom in our schools. We ask that you unfold great blessings and gifts in the coming days, that this would long be remembered as a year you worked in amazing ways, on behalf of every person we're praying for. And when anxiety or pressures start to rise, please surround every teacher in your constant care and security, knowing that it's your peace that will guard their hearts and minds in you.

Dear God,
Grant our teachers an abundance of Your wisdom. Prepare their hearts to welcome and love our loved ones, and may we make sure to show them love and respect in return. Give them grace as they help students who aren't
thriving, courage to say what needs to be said, tools and knowledge on how and when to speak love, and strength when they feel weak. When they feel unseen, remind them that no moment goes unnoticed. They are shaping the
future in one million small - yet incredibly important - ways every day. We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the gift of learning they share with our children. Bless them, Lord, and may they see even just a glimpse of
how their faithfulness will forever impact generations to come.
