Prayer For Preemie Baby
Thank you, God, for bringing our sweet baby boy into this world! We are so thankful for the chance to meet him. Father, we know that you are always with usyou are always with our son. Please strengthen him. Keep him strong and healthy. May his tiny fingers grow into strong hands that can serve you faithfully. amen
Before I formed you in the belly I knew you, and before you came forth out of the womb I sanctified you; I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.
For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, For I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well. My frame wasn't hidden from you, When I was made in secret, Woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them. How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! If I would count them, they are more in number than the sand. When I wake up, I am still with you.
Heavenly Father, the baby that has been growing within my womb for these many months is now in an incubator fighting for life, and I feel numb and utterly helpless.
Lord, You know the joy and excitement and also the tears and grief that we have gone through these last few weeks and months, and that our emotions are shot through with so many fluctuating feelings because of this unexpected and premature delivery. I pray that in Your pity and grace, You would touch the life of my precious little one and spare their life, and bring them through into full health and strength.
Amen.
Lord, I thank you for these fantastic caregivers that are working round-the-clock to ensure our baby is safe and healthy. Thank you for the technology that you have granted us to help secure the lives of babies that are born prematurely. I also want to thank you for giving us the strength to fight in faith and not out of fear. Lord, even with the caregivers doing exceptional work, we know it is your mighty hand that will help our baby to mature and be healthy. Uphold our baby with your righteous right hand and fight on our behalf. Let what the enemy intended for bad be our testimony and let your name be glorified through this child. In Jesus' name, we believe and pray, Amen.
Our gracious heavenly father, thank you for this precious child that you have given this family.
Lord, we know from your Word that you never leave us or forsake us.
We call upon your name for comfort in our hour of need for you are our strength, our only refuge, and we seek peace in this time of uncertainty.
Our hearts are overwhelmed with fear and doubt.
You, Lord, are the Great Healer.
We ask that you pour out your great healing
power on this precious little lamb of yours.
Bless and keep this little one surrounded with your
abundant love and mercy.
This is the prayer of our hearts. We ask these things in the precious
name of your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Almighty God,
bless this dear child,
born before their time,
yet made in your image
and perfect in your sight
and Father, we ask that if it be
Thy will, that this beautiful
infant grow strongers and
healthier with each passing day.
Give us, O Lord, the strength
to entrust to your care,
this precious little one
so very much beloved,
and grant us the grace
to pray as Jesus taught us,
that Thy will be done. Amen
God bless the little child behind the plastic wall (incubator) For all he knows is the ringing of the bells and the blurred images around him. He has been taken from my womb without warning and I long to hold him in my arms.
Lord, I ask in your name that my child be healed.
I am willing to accept your decision no matter what
I am willing to take on the responsibilities
for caring for this child. I am willing to give this
child love and understanding no matter the cost.
God give my child the strength to make it through another second, minute, hour and day as each moment is a blessing and a triumph from heaven.
God, may you give the strength and compassion
to the caregivers and nurses that take care of my child, May you keep my child protected and free from all injury and pain.
Sweet Jesus give me the strength and understanding I need to communicate with the Doctors and Nurses. Amen
