Prayer For Praise And Worship Service
Heavenly Father, in this day we will give thanks to You Lord and we will call upon Your name; we will make known among the nations what You have done and we will proclaim that Your name is exalted. We will sing to You Lord for You have done glorious things and we will let it be known to all the world. Father, today we will shout aloud and sing for joy. We will declare that great is the holy one of Israel among us.
(Isaiah 12:4-6)
Father, we come before You in Jesus' name with shouts of joy, we worship You with gladness that fills our hearts and with songs of joy before the Lord. Father, we declare today that the Lord is God and that we are Yours; we give You praise because we know that we are Your people and the sheep of Your pasture. Father, we enter Your gates with thanksgiving and Your courts with praise, we give thanks to You God and we praise Your name. Father, we Your people declare today that the Lord is good and His love endures forever. We praise You because Your faithfulness continues through all generations. Amen
Father, as we come before You today in the name of Jesus, we declare that You are God and earnestly we will seek You. Father, it's our desire to see You in the sanctuary; to behold Your power and Your glory. Father, Your love is greater than life and our lips will glorify You. We will praise You as long as we live and in Your name we will lift up our hands. You have satisfied our souls as with the riches of foods and with singing lips our mouths will give You praise. Amen
As You draw us closer to Your irresistible heart of love, may we always minister in Your Name and under the inspiration of Your Holy Spirit embracing humility when we are applauded and grace when we are criticized.
May we become and remain willing, committed and faithful servants focused on spreading Your Name and the timeless message of the Cross within the spheres of influence that You place us in without compromising on our love, attention and care, for the lives You have entrusted to us, beginning with our families.
And one day when our time here on earth comes to an end, we pray that you grant us the ultimate reward of your benevolent mercythe opportunity to worship You through all eternity, beholding Your glorious presence face-to-face.
Amen.
Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that our worship today would be different. I pray that it would be life-changing. I pray that the men and women of this congregation would look back on this day and know that it was a day where they encountered the Living God. Father, wake up these people from their slumber. Wake me up. May our worship be awesome today. I Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.
Dear Lord, I thank You that this fellowship has a place to gather for worship. I praise You that we have a sound system that works and microphones and speakers that can raise our volume to match the intensity of the way we feel in our hearts about You. Thank You for this stage and all the technology that allows me to lead our church in worship. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.
Arise, shine, for the Light of the World has come!
Darkness covers the earth and its people,
but the radiance of God's Light
burns away its shadows,
illuminates the smallest corner,
and heralds in the start
of a new dawn,
