Prayer For Positive Change
Everlasting God, Your word commands me not to lie to those around me, since I have taken off my old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in the knowledge of its Creator. Lord, I thank You for the spiritual, emotional and eternal changes that have occurred in my life because of You. Thank You for having Your divine way within me so that I am forever free in You, Amen.
Father,
We are here today to celebrate great success! In a world full of chaos and calamity, we are embracing a moment of triumph in Your name and for Your glory. Once again, we have experienced the miracle of Your sustenance, as King David so appropriately penned in Psalm 4:7: You have filled my heart with greater joy than when their grain and new wine abound. Amen
Father, I have to thank you for looking beyond my faults and for loving me unconditionally. Forgive me when I fail to love others in the same way. Give me eyes to see the needs of the difficult people in my life, and show me how to meet those needs in a way that pleases You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
God, sometimes life gets me down and I find it hard to see things to be thankful for. Open my eyes to see the gifts you've given me in my life. I'm going to start by thanking you for loving me enough to come to earth and die so we can live together forever. Amen.
Lord, how I long to break free from negative thinking and embrace peace and joy and optimism. I invite You to begin transforming my thought patterns and help me recognize, reject and replace thoughts that are not pleasing to You.
In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Give me encouragement and accountability. Set me free from my chains. I receive Your Holy Spirit's power to control my base impulses and to become the human being you have made me to be, ruling over myself and this world with you.
Amen
Awesome God, since the very beginning You brought about change, You created the heavens and the earth to a place that was void and surrounded by darkness. Even in death You bring about change for Your word says that we shall not sleep, but we shall all be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet! Lord, I pray that I embrace change in my life because change is often evidence of You working for my good, Amen.
King of Glory, change is often a scary thought, but Your word encourages change; Your faithful servants embraced change. I pray that I follow Abraham's example and walk in faith when I obey the things that You have called me to do. Abraham was called to go out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance; he went out, not knowing where he was going. I pray that I too walk faith-first (instead of feet-first) into change, Amen.
