Prayer For Parents And Teachers
O Lord, bless my teacher
and give him or her much joy in teaching us.
Bless my parents, and help me to obey them
in Your name. Please forgive all my sins,
and help me to be Your obedient,
faithful child, for Jesus' sake.
Amen!
O Lord, bless their parents. Help them
to bring up their children under the care and admonition of the Lord. Sanctify them, that they may feel a pious concern for the salvation of their children. Grant Your blessing upon the instruction and admonition of both parents and
teachers, that all these children may become full members of Your church, and heirs of Your salvation.
May these children be motivated to also say prayers for teachers as well. Bless, O Lord, the superintendent and the pastor. May our school
and church prosper to the praise of Your holy name, and to the salvation of all the members, for Jesus' sake, amen.
Gracious God, thank you for teaching us. You give us wisdom now to help us in the future.
We are grateful for this new year in which we may grow in faith, friendship, and the love of Jesus.
We pray for all students in our community. Thank you for their curiosity, hope, and kindness.
Help our students to listen for your voice, as they explore Scripture and seek to live what they believe.
We pray for all teachers. Thank you for giving them dedication, experience, and insight.
Sustain them by your Spirit with creativity, patience, peace, and joy.
Continually guide and bless all parents, families, and the whole congregation throughout this year.
We ask this in the name of Jesus, who asked and answered many questions. Amen.
Lord, we pray that you will help pupils and parents as they begin this new school year and allow every pupil to feel your presence and blessings each and every day. Father, we pray that pupils will not fear because Your Word encourages us to be strong and courageous. We pray that you will open the eyes of every pupil to receive new challenges, revelation and insight in Jesus Name. Allow every pupil and parent to support teachers as they educate children of all ages. Give every pupil a spirit of enthusiasm, motivation and self-discipline. Give every parent a spirit of understanding so that they will effectively listen to the needs of their child. Father, inspire every pupil to do the best they can this year. Amen.
Dear Father, we pray for all teachers as they enter into a new academic year. We pray that this new school year will be fortified with Your peace, understanding and most of all Your love and direction. We ask that every teacher will learn how to wait upon You and that You shall renew their strength as eagles. Lord, help every teacher to be able to manage the demands of the job. We pray that they will run and not become weary; they will walk and not faint. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We thank and praise you for the gift of Your Son to save us from our sin. We thank you for the gift of our Lutheran schools and for dedicated, passionate teachers who lead our students to you. As we get into conference season, grant us patience and understanding. Lead our hearts and give us wisdom and the proper words as we work to find what is best for these children. Strengthen our relationship that, in all things, we give all glory and honor to You. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
