Prayer For Parents Day
May each day that passes bring little joys into her life.
Flowers, good wishes and a nice meal.
May these things bring happiness and peace.
Keep her safe always.
And then may she live, love and enjoy life again to the full.
Amen.
Dear Lord! Fill our parents with Thy choicest blessings; enrich their souls
with Thy holy grace; grant that they may faithfully and constantly guard that likeness to Thy union with Thy
Church, which Thou didst imprint upon them on their wedding day, Fill them with Thy Spirit of holy fear, which is
the beginning of wisdom; inspire them to impart it to their children. May they ever walk in the way of Thy
commandments, and may we their children be their joy on earth and their crow of glory in heaven. Lord God,
grant that both our father and mother may attain extreme old age and enjoy continuous health in mind and
body. May they give Thee abundant thanks because Thou has bestowed upon them the great gift of
parenthood. AMEN.
Heavenly Father, I pray that my parents will surrender every area of their mind, will and emotions to You. I pray that they choose to dwell in Your goodness and faithfulness so that the good seeds You've planted in their life will take root. Keep them close to You and direct their steps down the good path You have prepared for them. In Jesus' name. Amen.
Heavenly Father, I come to You today giving thanks for my parents. Thank You for keeping and protecting them. Thank You for Your guidance and direction in their lives. Thank You for picking them up when they have been weak. I pray that You direct them in any decision they need to make today. Guide them in their path today, tomorrow and always. In Your name I pray. Amen.
God of peace, you have made us one family in Christ Jesus. Hear our
prayers, and let your everlasting love bind us close to Him and to each other,
this day and every day. We pray through Christ our Lord. Amen
Loving and gracious God, look upon us gathered here. We thank you
for this time together, for the peace given to us this day, for the hope with
which we expect tomorrow. May you bless all of our endeavors and give us
your true courage and strength. We pray through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
May you bless the hands that prepared this sumptuous food that they could share the same blessings to others.
Grant that all families participating in this occasion and even those at home would feel your presence through positive interaction and togetherness.
Grant that each family member sees you in everyone they meet.
As we go back home, may we take home with us the abundance of your generosity and love, so that we could spread these virtues in our daily lives.
This way we can be proponents of peace for those around us and eventually be an instrument of peace and unity in the world.
All this we ask in your Mighty Name.
