Prayer For Our Young People

Lord,

You know the hearts of our young kids. I pray that you would grow a desire in them that some would devote a life of service to a ministry. We need honest preachers. We need passionate worship pastors. We need men that will take hold of these desires and run with them. You can do great things, Father, through us and I pray that You will use the Holy Spirit to speak to our adolescent children to grow a passion inside of them that wants to know You more and live for You daily! I love You! Amen

I pray that You would raise up a generation of children that would fear You greatly! Lord, I'm scared about where our country is headed. Many bad decisions are affecting our kids. Abortion is not a scary word anymore. Father, our kids need to know to fight for what's right and I pray that You would use me to help Your cause to raise a generation of young people that will continue to fight for You! I love You! Amen

Keep those Young people who are Your children pure in heart and spirit, and develop in them a desire to be clean before You and learn of You so that they too may grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. May they grow in grace and be used by You to witness of the truth of Your Word to others. Guard them from all that would cause them to stumble and guide them into all truth. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Father, I pray that You would convict many young people of their need of Jesus as their Saviour and draw many into Your kingdom. Speak to their hearts and convict them in their spirit, and may Your name be glorified and heaven rejoice at those that come to trust you as Saviour. I pray in Jesus' name,

Amen.

God and Father, you are the divine companion. We ask you to continue to be with young people as they experience sorrow and joy, loneliness and friendship Guide and protect them from the dangers that are present in our world today. Gracious God, give to them and their families the courage to follow you as they journey through life. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, may they experience your loving care and mercy. We make this prayer through Christ, our Lord, Amen.

Turn your loving gaze, O God, upon young people.
They carry in their hearts a great hope:
make them strong and pure,
so that they can build their tomorrow with confidence.
Let them receive freely the gift of the faith,
accept it with gratitude,
and develop it with generosity.
Mother of Christ, and our Mother,
help them to be now and forever faithful
to Christ and the Church.
Amen.

Thank You, Father, that You, The God of Peace, are strengthening, completing, perfecting andmaking our young people what they ought to be. You are equipping them with everything good that they may carry out Your will, while You Yourself are working in them and accomplishing thatwhich is pleasing in Your sight. (Hebrews 13:20-21).Father, we declare that by our young people' obedience through the Holy Spirit they have purified their hearts for the sincere affection of the brethren, and they love them fervently from a pure heart. (IPeter 1:22).

Father, we declare that our young people let no foul language nor evil word nor unwholesome orworthless talk ever come out of their mouths, but only such speech as is good and beneficial tothe spiritual progress of others, as is fitting to the need and the occasion, that it may be a blessing and give GRACE to those who hear it. They do not grieve the Holy Spirit by Whom they were sealed. They let all bitterness, wrath, passion, rage, bad temper, resentment, anger, animosity, quarreling, brawling, clamor, contention, slander, evil-speaking, abusive or blasphemouslanguage be banished from them, with all malice, spite, ill will or baseness of any kind. They have become useful, helpful and kind to one another and to everyone; tenderhearted, compassionate, understanding, forgiving everyone readily and freely as You in Christ forgave7them, in order that Satan get no advantage over them; for they are not ignorant of his wiles andintentions. (Ephesians 4:29-32; II Corinthians 2:11).
