Prayer For My Broken Marriage
Father, I lay my troubled marriage before you today. I ask you to please revive our relationship. Renew our love for one another and help us to work through our differences with respect. Lord, I declare and decree that any plans of the enemy to scatter this relationship will not prevail in the name of Jesus. Let our hearts burn with love, and may our thoughts align with your thoughts. Show us how to treat each other with respect and knit our hearts together with your love. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.
O Lord, the temptation to quit this marriage is too strong. I don't see how I'll be able to work things out with my partner. We have grown apart, and it is like we do not love each other anymore. But Lord, you have laid it in my heart not to quit but to keep on fighting for this marriage. Please bring healing in our hearts that we may be able to go through this tough season together and come out victorious in the end. May your loving-kindness be upon us. In Jesus' name, we believe and pray, Amen.
Father God, we stand firm on your word, which says that if anyone lacks wisdom, he should ask you for you give generously without finding fault. Lord, our relationship is in shambles, and we do not know how to deal with each other. Give us wisdom that we may heal our broken marriage. May your mighty hand be upon us as we try to resolve our differences and come together as one. We love you and adore you. In Jesus' name, I believe and pray, Amen.
Father in heaven, you know me inside out, and therefore, I cannot lie to you. Honestly, I do not trust my husband anymore after all the times he has hurt me. But I do not want to lose him because I know that you're the one who brought us together. He has told me recently that he is changing for the better, and as much as I want to trust him, I keep on struggling and remembering the things that he has done to me. Lord, you are the only one who can restore the trust I had in him, so please show me how to trust him again. Remove any doubts that are in my heart and fill that void with your love. In Jesus' name, I believe and pray, Amen.
Lord Jesus, please rekindle our love for one another as a husband and wife. Lord, cause our hearts to be drawn to each other. Wrap us in your arms of love and remove pain from our hearts. Help us to start afresh and grow stronger in love. Remind us of your unconditional love wherever we fall out with one another. Father, we thank you for you are turning our mourning into dancing. In Jesus' name, we believe and pray, Amen.
Dear Lord, we come before your throne this day to ask you to bring unity between us. We used to be very close but, now we cannot stand each other or be in the same room. When we are together, all we do is scream at each other. Lord, even though we have drifted apart, we know that you can bring us back together. Reconcile us back to each other. Fill our hearts with the same love that we had for each other and remind us why we fell in love with each other. In Jesus' name, I believe and pray, Amen.
O Lord, unforgiveness and anger are poisoning our marriage. Nothing seems to be working; all we do is fight when we are together. We have made so many mistakes, and now we are on the verge of a divorce. We seem to be happy apart than when we spend time together. But Lord, this is not what you promised us. Remove unforgiveness and anger from our hearts and help us to love one another with a love of Christ. Give us the strength to fight for our marriage until we experience restoration. In Jesus' name, I believe and pray, Amen.
Father, thank you for bringing us together. It is written in your word that two are better than one, but Lord of late, we have been struggling to stay together as husband and wife. Come to our rescue, dear Lord. Bind us with cords that will never be broken. Take away the pain that we have inflicted on each other's lives and show us the right path to take as a married couple. May the promises that you have made over our marriage prevail. May your peace rule richly in our marriage, and may the peace of Christ rest in our hearts and home. In Jesus' name, I believe and pray, Amen.
