Prayer For Marriages In Crisis

Oh Lord, I believe you are working in my life and that of my spouse to reconcile us back to to you and to each other.

Lord, stir my spouse's thoughts with the same good and loving thoughts that existed when our love for each other was still very strong.

Let my heart and that of my spouse burn in love for you and for each other.

Lord, rekindle our love for one another. Where ever my spouse needs understanding to be drawn to you, Father give him or her that understanding.

Lord heal each one of our emotional wounds and cause our hearts to be drawn towards each other in Jesus name. Amen.

Heavenly Father, I give you all praise and adoration, because your word is ever true. I give you thanks because no weapon that is formed against this marriage will stand (Isaiah 54:17).

I declare that every arrow shot to destabilize this marriage is broken to pieces, in Jesus name.

With the spiritual authority given to me through Christ Jesus, I command the fire of God to consume every wedge that is meant to be put between me and my spouse, through bad and ungodly advice and false teachings.

Every evil hand of demonic manipulation is crushed, in Jesus name. I retrieve my marriage from the jaws of the evil one, in Jesus' name. Thank you, Abba Father, because IT IS DONE, in Jesus' name.

Lord, I come to you with this petition because I know that you have made me one flesh with my spouse and you have said that no man should come between us (Matthew 19:6).

So I take authority over every outside influence that is polluting our marriage. Every foreign power that's manipulating this marriage is dealt a heavy blow in Jesus name.

Oh Lord, reveal their evil agenda. Expose them and bring their plan to nought.

I pray that their seed of discord, hatred, malice, and separation that has been sown is uprooted by fire, in Jesus name. Amen!

Heavenly and Merciful Father, I thank you for who you are and for the promises that you have made concerning me and my spouse.

Your Word is forever true. And your promise of blessings and multiplication that you have given me throughout the ages (Genesis 22:17; Hebrews 6:14) is forever mine, in Jesus' name.

You have promised to bless me exceedingly and it is your heart's desire to enlarge my coast.

Every satanic covenant that is going against your continual and uninterrupted blessing in this marriage, I command the rain of fire to consume them, in Jesus' name.

I pray against every spirit of lack and wretchedness. Oh Lord, let your peace, joy, happiness, and comfort saturate this marriage, in Jesus' name, Amen!

Heavenly Father,

I pray for you to restore my broken marriage.

We've fallen so far from the beautiful thing that you created marriage to be.

You created marriage to be a glorious gift that mirrors your love for your own bride, the Church.

You intended marriage to bring us joy and companionship. But right now, this perfect picture seems so far away.

My spouse and I are only human; we're imperfect, and our relationship to each other is imperfect as a result.

We are going through such a difficult time, and sometimes I'm not even sure we can make it through to the other side.

But Lord, don't ever let us give up on this marriage. Don't let us grow weary of loving each other.

Help us to fight for it, each and every day. Give us tender, forgiving hearts toward one another.

Help us to love each other unconditionally, just as you love us. The day of our marriage, we entered into a sacred covenant blessed by You, and I will not break that covenant no matter how hard it gets.

Lord, cover all of our mistakes, as well as all of our sinful thoughts and actions, with grace.

Don't let our own flaws or the circumstances around us change the sanctity of our marriage. God, I recognize that my marriage is in trouble.

So I come humbly before you, asking you to save it by any means possible.

I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for blessing me with a partner for life. I want to glorify you in honoring my marriage vows and being the best spouse I can be.

I pray for an abundance of the fruits of the spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) within myself and my spouse.

Peace over our home and our spirits.
Love that overcomes all.
Joy that is ever present, especially during trials.
Faithfulness to you God and one another.
Patience in your perfect timing and will for my marriage and also towards my spouse.
Kindness at all times towards my spouse.
Goodness, that is honorable and pure.
Gentleness to handle a hurting heart and bruised spirit.
Self-control to resist the temptation to sin against you and my marriage.
Father, please grow my marriage and place in each of us a burning passion to serve you. Help my spouse to be the kind of leader in our family that he needs to be. May he lead by example in his own spiritual walk.

I pray that you would heal conflict in my marriage and place in each of us a forgiving heart. Help each of us to love, honor, and cherish each other always.

Your Word describes love as patient, kind, non-envious, not boastful, not self-seeking, not evil, protective, trusts, hopes, perseveres and never-failing (1 Corinthians 13:4-8.)

I pray Lord that you would saturate both of our hearts with this kind of love.

Lord, thank you for the purity of marriage. Help us to be sober-minded and on alert against the evil that seeks to devour.

Protect us and our marriage against a moment of weakness.

Place in us an eagerness to serve each other with love, humility, and patience. Make us both of the same mind and love. Grant us freedom from selfishness.

Father, no man can separate what you have joined together. I pray this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Father, I declare Your unity, Your truth, and Your peace over this marriage. I agree with You that because You are the almighty, with us God, no weapon formed against them will prosper. I thank You that Your Word is a light to Jewel's path. I invite You to fill her with Your wisdom and revelation on how to cooperate with You and how to intercede for her husband. You are her staying power to stand still. You are her strength helping her to withstand the evil attacks. You are mighty to save this marriage and restore what the locusts have eaten. In Jesus I pray with faith that all of this and SO much more is possible. Amen

Holy Father, I call on Your name and Your victorious nature on behalf of this marriage. I invite Your truth to be revealed to both Cassandra and her husband. I invite You to destroy the strongholds of pride and allow them both to see what You need them to see about themselves. I declare that Cassandra's feelings of being trapped and doubts about marriage are from the destroyer and they are to be thrown into the sea, buried and never to return. Let Your staying power hold them together. Let Your faithfulness become their faithfulness toward each other. Let Your humility become their own toward each other. It is in Jesus name and for HIs glory, that I pray these things believing they are ALL possible. Amen
