Prayer For Hopeless Situations
God, my Helper, I confess my inadequacy in the face of my circumstances. Come with great power and rescue me! Listen to my prayer, O God, pay attention to my plea. With Your help, I will not only survive this but thrive through this! May all these forces that have come against me be turned away from me. I will praise Your Name, O Lord, for You fulfill Your promises. Amen.
God of my Rescue, do not ignore my cry for help. Please listen and answer me, for I am overwhelmed by my troubles. My heart pounds in my chest and I can't stop shaking. I know You can turn this hopeless situation around. You deliver me from my troubles and help me triumph against the most impossible odds. Morning, noon and night I call on You Lord, and I thank You that You hear my voice. Amen.
My Lord, I bring my burdens to You, knowing You will take care of me. You will not permit me to slip and fall. I trust You to save me out of this hopeless predicament. O God, have mercy on me, for I feel like I'm being hounded all day long. But I will put my trust in You. I praise You for Your promises of deliverance. I trust in You, so why should I be afraid? Thank You for carrying my burdens. Amen.
O God, You keep track of all my sorrows; You have collected all my tears in Your bottle. I come to You fully confident that this desperate problem will retreat when I call to You for help. You are on my side this I know! I thank You even now for Your help, for You have kept my feet from slipping. O God, how wonderful to walk in Your presence, in Your life-giving light. Amen.
Oh my God, I'm trapped in desperate straits. I'm weary from distress. I'm in a deep pit. And yet, no matter what, my heart is confident in You. Even now, no matter what, I will waken the dawn with my songs of praise. Lord, Your unfailing love is as high as the heavens, and Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. Thank You for lifting me out of this pit and setting me on solid ground. Amen.
Beneath the Shelter of Your Wings Prayer
Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy! I look to You for protection. I hide beneath the shelter of Your wings until this adversity passes by. My God Most High, please send help from heaven. Send forth Your unfailing love
and faithfulness! I exalt You above the highest heavens! May Your glory shine over all the earth. Thank You for making a road through this sea of hopelessness. Amen.
God, my Defender, I come to You seeking justice in my helplessness. I bring my case before You. May this unjust situation disappear like water into the thirsty ground. May it dissolve before me, O Righteous Judge. I will rejoice because there truly is a reward for those who live for God. You will take up my cause and declare me victorious! Amen.
O God, I cry to You for help when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the towering rock of security from my hopelessness. You are my safe refuge, a fortress where trouble cannot touch me. May I rest under the shadow of Your wings, under Your protection. May Your unfailing love and unending faithfulness watch over me. I will sing praises to Your Name forever. Amen.
