Prayer For Healing Stroke
Lord, please mercifully touch Ruth and all who suffer from strokes, that they might recover quickly from their afflictions and always be healed of all their physical or spiritual afflictions by your holy hand. Lead them with graces for faith, hope, love, and joy ever toward the eternal garden of beauty. Send angels to help with this cause and to help any medical staff working with stroke victims. Have mercy, Lord. Our Lady, angels, and saints, pray with us. Amen.
Lord and Father, almighty and eternal God,
by Your blessing You give us strength and support
in our frailty:
turn with kindness toward Your servant Ruth.
Free her from all illness and restore her to good health,
so that in the sure knowledge of Your goodness
she will gratefully bless Your holy name.

Most charming and saintly Physician, you were animated by the heavenly Spirit of love. In faithfully detailing the humanity of Jesus, you also showed His divinity and His genuine compassion for all human beings. Inspire our physicians with your professionalism and with the divine compassion for their patients. Enable them to cure the ills of both body and spirit that afflict so many in our day.

Father in Heaven, you are the giver of life and the great physician.
You know our needs and wants. Please heal my earthly father. We know that his brain has been damaged by stroke, we know that without your hand on him that he will never be the same. At the same time we also know that you can make him whole again, you can repair damaged brain tissue, you can enable him to continue to serve you on this Earth.
Lord, hear my petition. Be with my mother and all of my family as we experience this storm in our lives. I don't always understand your plan for us, but I do trust that you work all things for the good. I only ask that it be your will to bring Dad back to us. But if it is not so, please bring us peace and acceptance of your will.
I ask these things in the name of your Son and my Savior, Jesus Christ. All glory and honor belongs to you.
