Prayer For Guidance And Protection At Work
Dear Lord, thank You that You are with me throughout each and every day and night, and thank You that you never leave me nor forsake me. Lord, You know my work situation, that there are hidden dangers and various health and safety issues that require me to be very vigilant, and I ask that You would keep and protect me (and all those with whom I work), from any and all unforeseen dangers, accident or emergencies.
Thank You, Lord, that You have promised to be my protection and shield. Thank You, that You are before me and behind me, to inspire and to guide. Thank You, that You are my God and I am Your child. May the light of Your prescence shine on me and enfold me today in all the duties I am required to do. Thank You for the assurance that there is nothing that is beyond Your notice and abilities, and that I am kept by Your mighty power. Thank You, in Jesus name,

My Heavenly father, as I enter this workplace I bring your presence with me. I speak your peace, your grace, your mercy, and your perfect order in this office. I acknowledge your power over all that will be spoken, thought, decided, and done within these walls.
Lord, I thank you for the gifts you have blessed me with. I commit to using them responsibly in your honor. Give me a fresh supply of strength to do my job. Anoint my projects, ideas, and energy so that even my smallest accomplishment may bring you glory.
Lord, when I am confused guide me. When I am burned out infuse me with the light of the Holy Spirit. May the work that I do and the way I do it bring faith, joy, and a smile to all that I come in contact with today.
Dear Father in Heaven, I come to You in my time of need, to beg for Your protection and Your guidance in my life. Please help me see Your hand in this situation and give me peace, even when I am unworthy. O Lord, I need Your protective shield over me and my family and I ask that you give me the sense of calmness as I follow Your path.

Lord Jesus, today we ask that you give our brother/sister the wisdom to know what to do in this difficult work situation. As he/she continues to follow You, Lord, please give her/him the guidance necessary to make the right decisions that will honor You. As a light in this dark world, he/she is in great need of Your heavenly touch right now. Thank You for all that You have done for us and given us and we pray that we may pass the light to the next generation. In You we trust, Amen.
Almighty God, our help and refuge, source of wisdom and tower of strength, you know I can do nothing without your guidance and help. Help me and direct me to divine wisdom and power, that I may accomplish this task and whatever I may undertake to do, faithfully and diligently, according to your will, so that it may be profitable to myself and others, and to the glory of your holy name. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, now and forever.
O Lord, our redemption. Be our protection. Direct our minds by your gracious presence. Watch over our paths and guide us with your love through the hidden snares of life. Fix our hearts on you as we go forward, and following in faith, arrive at your goal; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Lord, thank you for my job and allowing me to serve others. Each day you give me everything I need to provide for my family. Please protect me today at work from any harm I may face. The physical demands of my job require all of my energy. I ask that you protect my body so that I may finish my work without injury and return again tomorrow. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Lord God, I pray for Your physical and spiritual protection in the workplace, where our influence, our priorities, and our character are tested daily. Help us to remember that every foolish action reaps consequences, and every careless word carries weight among our coworkers. Others are watching, Lord, so set a watch before our mouths and guard the door of our lips. Protect us from those who try to sway our convictions or tempt us to compromise our standards in the name of success. Place an invisible banner over us that reminds us of Your protective love and that we belong to You.
Our work is important to You, so turn us away from slothfulness or misplaced priorities. When others aim criticism our way or when misunderstanding arises, guard us from impatience or anger. Protect us from our own sinful nature and help us to always take the high road of love in dealing with dissatisfied customers or disgruntled colleagues. Thank You for Your promise never to leave us or abandon us, and that Your Spirit lives inside of us to give wisdom, understanding, and security against those who want to pull us away or harm us. You are Lord, and as our Employer, we look to You to preserve all benefits involved in that relationship. In Jesus' name, Amen.
