Prayer For God's Wisdom
Father, in the Name of Jesus, I realize that as a believer, my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. My acknowledgment of Your presence on a daily basis makes my faith in You effectual. I believe that You, heavenly Father, are leading and guiding me by the Holy Spirit through my spirit, and illuminating my mind.
As I yield to the Holy Spirit, I believe that my steps are ordered of You, LORD. I commit and trust myself wholly to Your guidance, expecting You to cause my thoughts to become agreeable to Your will, so my plans will be established and succeed. I trust in You, LORD, with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding. As I acknowledge You, You direct me in paths of righteousness.
I confess that as I become more God-inside minded, I can more easily recognize the inward witness of the Holy Spirit. I hear the voice of the Good Shepherd, and a stranger's voice I will not follow. I am aware that my spirit is the candle of The LORD.
I meditate in The WORD day and night, not letting it depart from my mouth. I test my inward witness with The WORD, for the Spirit and The WORD agree. I am quick to act on The WORD, as well as the prompting of my spirit. I am not a hearer only, but also a doer. Therefore, I am blessed in all my deeds.
Dear Heavenly Father, I praise You for Your infinite wisdom that is abundantly evident in all that You do. You are the essence of wisdom, and the source of it. Whereas You are abounding in wisdom, I am lacking. Please help me to grow in wisdom as I increase in my knowledge and fear of You. By Your Spirit, please increase my depth of insight as I study Your Word. Hold me back from leaning on my own understanding, and make me willing to be counted foolish by the world, for then I will have begun to display godly wisdom. It's in the name of my Savior, Jesus Christ, that I pray. Amen.
Gracious Heavenly Father, your word says that you will always guide me. You do not leave me wandering through life, but you are with me during every moment of every day. You will satisfy my needs when I feel frustrated and you will strengthen me when life makes me weary. Help me to follow your ways as you lead me into a life of fruitfulness and joy. May I be like the well-watered garden which thrives because the roots are firmly planted in your love. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
O Lord my God, help me to trust you with my decisions and my future. Let me lean on you with all my heart instead of relying on my own imperfect understanding. Give me clear guidance in my life, Lord. As I submit myself to you, I know that you will direct my paths and I can have confidence that your direction is always the best way to go. Hear my prayer, Father. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Father, take me to the place where I am saved from my pride and arrogance and Christ's humility is centre stage, where I'm lifting up clean hands and a pure heart to You. Take me to the place where I'm no longer looking at the mountains I face but looking down upon them, where I can see clearly and my decisions are flooded with Your light, truth and justice. Father, I bend my knee and receive Your truth I open my ears to receive Your counsel I open my heart to receive Your eternal wisdom. Amen.
God, I am here today to ask for divine wisdom. In any scenario I find myself, I'm always confronted with a lack of a direct solution. So I pray to You that You give me the insight into how I will manage all the crucial aspects of my life. Teach me, for I will listen and adherevto Your advices. Thank You Father for answering this prayer, Amen.
Heavenly Father, I/we pray before to You today to ask for wisdom and guidance in all that we do. We can only focus on the present and the past, but only You knows the future. So plan our path for us and help make the best decision for not only ourselves but for our family and everyone around us. I/we thank You for listening to our prayers, and In Jesus Name, Amen.
Lord, thank You for the people You have divinely placed in my life who speak holy truth, love and words of wisdom. Give me a heart of discernment to know when You are using someone to speak instruction into my heart and my circumstances, and give me the strength and courage to follow through with that advice, even when it's hard. Fill me with peace in knowing that even if I take a wrong turn, Your purpose will prevail. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
