Prayer For Gods Grace
O Jesus, I come before you in humility, asking for your grace and mercy. For you know the temptations of this world. You know the weaknesses of being human. Though you were strong enough to withstand the temptations and did not sin, I am not so strong. I come before you to ask for your grace and mercy in my time of need. For I am weak and I sin. I need your help daily to stay strong in my faith and continue to walk in your way. Lord Jesus, forgive me and shower me with your grace. Amen.
O let no sin have dominion over us, because we are not under law but under grace. Romans 6:14
Let the flesh be crucified in us, with its passions and desires; Galatians 5:24 that walking in the Spirit, we may not gratify the desires of the flesh. Galatians 5:16
Let our old self be crucified with Christ that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we may no longer be enslaved to sin. Romans 6:6 And let not sin reign in our mortal bodies (in our immortal souls), to make us obey its passions, Romans 6:12 but having been set free from sin, let us become slaves of righteousness. Romans 6:18
Let the law of the Spirit of life set us free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:2
Give us grace to put off our old self, which is corrupt through deceitful desires, Ephesians 4:22 and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness. Ephesians 4:24
Let the world be crucified to us, and we to the world, by the cross of Christ. Galatians 6:14
May the grace of Christ our Saviour,
And the Father's boundless love,
With the Holy Spirit's favor,
Rest upon us from above.
Thus may we abide in union
With each other and the Lord,
And possess, in sweet communion,
Joys which earth cannot afford.

How I thank and praise You for the everlasting life that You have given to me by Your wonderful grace and love.
May I grow day by day to be more like You, Full of compassion and kindness.
Saturate my heart with Your love
So that I may love You more
with every passing breath my Jesus.
Thank you, for Your Holy Spirit
Who is making me be more like YOU Lord Jesus?
I want to reflect Your grace
And Your beauty in thought, word, and deed.
I ask that I may devote my time and heart to reflect on all
You are and all You have done for me
So that You are magnified more and more in my life
So that the beauty of my Lord Jesus may be seen and reflect in me. Amen
El Shaddai, God Almighty, You are great and Your mercy is everlasting. You are creator of the universe and nothing is too difficult for You to handle.
Nothing can compare to Your love, Father. You are my all sufficient God, worthy of all praise and honour. Hallelujah to You, my Redeemer, my Strongtower, My All in All!
James 4:6 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.
Romans 5:1-2 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Lord, thank you for all you do in my life. I know, Lord, that we are imperfect people living in imperfect times, but Lord, some of us need your grace in a mighty way. Lord, please protect this person against the things that pull them away from you. Let that person live in you as you desire. Give them the strength during this rough patch in their life. Let your desires be their desires.
Lord, please provide your grace through protection from the harm that seems to come to them physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Please give them strength to get through each day, because you are there to provide it for them. Lord, I ask that you cover them in grace for healing and for direction.
Please, Lord, give me the strength to be honest with them so that I can be an instrument of grace. Let me be more like you by providing them unconditional love - something they so need in their lives. Give them a path and let them see clearly what needs to be done. I ask you, Lord, to provide as you always do - to move the mountains of doubt and pain that fill their lives. In your holy name, Amen.
Lord, I know you are merciful. I've been taught that you provide grace and mercy in spite of my behavior and in spite of my sins. You are a good God that comes to those that need You, no matter what. And Lord, I need you now in my life more than ever. I know that I'm not perfect. I know that my sins are not hidden from you. I know that, at times, I sin knowing it's a sin. I'm human, Lord, and while that's no excuse, I know you love me despite my human nature.
Lord, I need you today to provide for me. I need your grace in my life to provide strength because I am weak. I face temptations every day, and I wish I could say that I always walk away. I cannot do it alone anymore. I just can't. I need you to give me the strength and provide me with the guidance to overcome these desires to sin. I need you to give me direction in darker times when I wonder if I can even face the next day. You can move the mountains that block my way in life. You can give to me what I need in my life.
Please, Lord, I ask of you to come into my life and offer your grace. I am open to it and ready to accept it. Allow my heart to always be focused on You and make my desire to live for You. Lord, I know from the scripture that your grace is bestowed no matter what, so I just ask for it today. I may not always be perfect, but I strive to be better. Lord, help me be better. Help me see the clear, narrow path in front of me so I can walk in your ways and in your glory. In your name
Heavenly Father, how very patient you are with us and with our prayers that are more often letting off steam and demanding things we want. Please align our hearts to yours so that even as Jesus prayed with tears, we too might have His compassion, not hardness of heart toward those in need of the Saviour. For His Name's sake. Amen.
