Prayer For First Lady Of The Church

Dear Lord, I pray for this woman; my pastor's wife. She shares her home and heart with a congregation of your people. Let her feel loved today. Hold her close and heal any hurting parts. Continue to work in her the fruit of the spirit: love, joy, and peace. Give her hope in you and soothe her with the truth from your word. Amen.

O Father, speak into the heart of my pastor's wife. Let her here the spirit's leading in her own devotional and her own ministry. As she serves alongside her husband, give her patience with people and a heart for you. Keep her safe from the words of the accuser and those who would accuse her. Let her know the truth: She is forever accepted just as she is in your hands. Make her believe the truth: she is perfect for this congregation. Amen.

O God, will you bless our pastor's wive? Bless her with provisions for her daily needs. Bless her with the secret desires of her heart. Let her be seen by her husband today. I pray she will know the deep personal presence of you, O God. Hold her close today as she ministers for you. Give her fruit for her labor. Amen.

Father, help our pastor(s) to know Christ and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in His sufferings (Phil. 3:10). Since we know of their faith in the Lord Jesus and their love for all the saints, may we never stop giving thanks for them, always remembering them in our prayers. We will keep asking that You, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, will give them the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that they may know You better

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the position you have given to Pastor's all around the world. Thank you for trusting them with your Word. Thank you for their wives, who support them, love them, and serve them. I pray that you would strengthen their marriages everyday. I pray for the pastor's wife right now. May your Holy Spirit empower her to continue sowing, to continue doing good. Bless her Lord. Equip her to do your will. I pray against any temptation that would come to tear her down or hold her in bondage. I pray against the schemes of the enemy and I pray against his attack on marriage. May you send people to encourage her today and every day. Remind her daily of her value and the love you have for her. Reveal to her the purpose for why she is where she is. Refine her and fill her with your wisdom. May your peace and joy abound in her heart in Jesus name AMEN!

Lord God Almighty, would You help our pastor(s) to humble themselves before You and under Your mighty hand, so that You will lift them up (Jas. 4:10; 1 Pet. 5:6)? Guide them in what is right and teach them Your way (Psa. 25:9). May our congregation see that they are wise and understanding as shown by their good lives, and by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom (Jas. 3:13). Father, You have said that the ones You esteem are those who are humble and contrite in spirit, and who trembles at Your Word (Isa. 66:2). May our pastor be such a person!

Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life. Proverbs 4:23

Pray that she will cultivate strong character and uncompromising integrity. Pray that her testimony will be genuine and that she will guard her heart.

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Matthew 6:33

Pray that your pastor's wife will love God with all her heart, soul, mind, and strength. Pray that God's Spirit will work in her heart in power and that she will value and follow biblical priorities.

Dear Lord, as I come to pray for this woman, my pastor's wife, let me name her: ______. You see her not in her role, but who she is in you: daughter, beloved, forgiven, and enough. Satisfy the longings of her heart and keep her eyes focused on you. I pray your word speaks to her today. I pray for whatever desire she has, you will meet it beyond what she could even imagine! Amen.

O Father, draw _______ to you today. Her life is rough; there are critics; and she maybe worn down. Lift her up and comfort her. Reveal to the people around her (including me) what she might need. Even though she might not ask for it, let us try and help meet her needs today. Let her find comfort in sharing her heart with others and find peace in you. Amen.
