Prayer For Finding A Mate
Dear God, Loving Father and Creator of all there is.
Please fill me with your Sacred presence.
I ask for Your love, wisdom and blessings,
as I explore the deep reaches of my heart.
I ask Lord Jesus to please remove all that stands in the way of true love.
My heart is pure; my intentions clear.
please let me be only with the blessed partner You have willed for me,
against all my wrong thoughts, influences and decisions.
Let You choice prevail God not mine.
I seek a partner who loves You and brings honour to You, our relationship and our family.
Someone who brings more love, joy and peace to our lives.
Who I love fully and who loves, respects and cherishes me completely.
With whom I will be blessed and closer to You as an individual, couple and as a family.
May my heart be open and my head be clear.
May my life be ready to welcome true love.
May I be always embraced in a circle of your love and uplifted by your grace.

Dear God,
I have a longing in my heart to find someone to share my life with. Just as you are able to guide me in all other aspects of my life, I believe that you can guide me in finding the person to share my life with.
I begin by praying that you will show me among those I know a healthy role model of a good partnership where the relationship is based on Your love, mutual respect and a strong sense of belonging to each other. I now meditate on the healthy relationships I have observed and name to you the qualities that I see that I would like to have in my own future relationship_____________________________________
On the other hand, I know that maybe my thoughts about romance and relationships that I've picked up from the media, culture, my family and friends may be unrealistic and not exactly healthy and could lead me down the wrong path. I now ask that you will show me the ways I may be looking for love that may not be the best________________________________________________________________
Before I look for my life-long mate, please help me see who I am first so I can know who they are when I met him/her.

God, I thank you that you know me and made my unique personality. You have given me talents, abilities, dreams, challenges and strengths. You also know the person out there who would be a good life partner for me, with whom we would both be much stronger and happier than we each would be alone.
In the very beginning of history you said, It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.' (Genesis 2:18 NIV) And so I claim this promise and pray for a helper suitable for me. It also says in the Bible, For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh. (Genesis 2:24 NIV) And so I claim this promise that I will find a person with whom I can be united with such a strong and lasting partnership that it feels like we're one person instead of two different individuals.
You say in the Bible, Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. (Philippians 4:6) With this in mind, I now ask your Holy Spirit to guide me as I create a prayer list of the things I hope to find in a marriage partner.

Now that I have made my list, I pray that you will guide me as time goes on if I need to add or subtract things from it.
I thank you that you have heard my prayer. Continue to help me see your possibilities for my future. Keep me open to your guidance. Help me to trust that you are at work in my life even when I don't seem to be making any progress. Give me a good group of friends to support me in this quest. I pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Dear God,
Please help me to better myself and to find my true love. My heart aches for all the pain that I've been through lately. The one I loved did me wrong, and now its time to move on and find someone that is worthy of my love. That will love me unconditionally.
I pray he will love me, adore me, and cherish me. Help lead me in the path you have for me and guide me to my future partner. Then guide me through every stage of our relationship,so that, as we move ever closer to You, we grow closer to each other in Love, in Joy, and in Faith. In your name I pray.

Father, I come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your will to be done in my life as I look to You for a marriage partner. I submit to the constant ministry of transformation by the Holy Spirit, making my petition known to You.
Prepare me for marriage by bringing everything to light that has been hidden wounded emotions, walls of denial, emotional isolation, silence or excessive talking, anger, or rigidity [name any wall that separates you from healthy relationships and God's love and grace]. The weapons of my warfare are not carnal, but mighty through You, Lord, to the pulling down of strongholds.
I know the One in Whom I have placed my confidence, and I am perfectly certain that the work, whether I remain unmarried or marry, is safe in Your hands until that day.
Because I love You, Lord, and because I am called according to Your plan, everything that happens to me fits into a pattern for good. In Your foreknowledge, You chose me to bear the family likeness of Your Son. You chose me long ago; when the time came You called me, You made me righteous in Your sight, and then You lifted me to the splendor of life as Your child.
I lay aside every weight, and the sins which so easily ensnare me, and run with endurance the race that is set before me, looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of my faith, Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. I consider Him Who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest I become weary and discouraged in my soul. He makes intercession for me.
I turn my back on the turbulent desires of youth and give my positive attention to goodness, integrity, love, and peace in company with all those who approach You, Lord, in sincerity. I have nothing to do with silly and ill-informed controversies, which lead inevitably to strife. As Your servant, I am not a person of strife. I seek to be kind to all, ready and able to teach. I seek to be tolerant and have the ability to gently correct those who oppose Your message.
Father, I desire and earnestly seek (aim at and strive after) first of all Your Kingdom and Your righteousness (Your way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given me besides. So I do not worry and will not be anxious about tomorrow.
I am persuaded that I can trust You because You first loved me. You chose me in Christ before the foundation of the world. In Him the whole fullness of Deity (the Godhead) continues to dwell in bodily form [giving complete expression of the divine nature]; and I am in Him, made full and have come to the fullness of life [in Christ].
I am filled with the Godhead Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and I reach toward full spiritual stature. And He (Christ) is the Head of all rule and authority [of every angelic principality and power]. So, because of Jesus, I am complete; Jesus is my Lord.
I come before You, Father, expressing my desire for a Christian mate. I petition that Your will be done in my life. Now I enter into that blessed rest by adhering to, trusting in, and relying on You.

Dear God, please help me heal
From grief, loss and the pain of love in my past
And let me be whole and happy again
I have been needy and overly-anxious,
I have felt desperate and too willing to settle.
Calm the need in me that makes unwise choices.
Sooth the soreness in my soul that makes me crave love.
Restore my faith in love and divine timing.
Bring true love to me, in the right time, for the right reasons.
Please end to separating between me and my true love.
Let the healing process must begin inside my heart.
