Prayer For Family Strength
Father, God, I ask for your helping hand in restoring love within our family. We've grown apart because of the challenges we are facing. We wish to be united once again. Your greatest commandment is love. You are the God of love. Let your love draw us back to each other. Help us forgive each other's faults as you have forgiven us and keep no record of each other's wrongs. Let us aspire to live in peace with everyone. Let your love be our common ground. Amen.
Dear Lord, I know you are the source of our strength. Your strength is perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). You give us the power to endure weakness, knowing that you will show yourself strong. You offer grace to us, and that grace is sufficient. When we encounter hardships, you are our strength. When we endure persecution, you are our strength. Whatever circumstances we find ourselves in, give us the strength to make it through to the other side of the trial, so that you may be glorified. We know you don't delight in suffering, Lord. You are for us and you want what's best for us. Teach us that any strength we may have comes only from you.
If we're to have a thorn in the flesh like the Apostle Paul, then give us the grace to endure it and use it as an opportunity for getting closer to you. We know in this life we will have hardships. Help us to use them wisely. Help us to understand the purpose in them. And help our family to grow stronger in you because of them. In Jesus name, amen.
Heavenly Father I thank you for the family I am born into. I thank you that it is the greatest choice you made for me. I ask that you keep my family from all forms of evil in Jesus. God, I pray that your presence never departs from my family and that your purpose for my family be established. Let my family solve all the problems we face. May the plan of the devil to steal, kill and destroy never succeed against any member of my family. I declare that in my family everyone will grow in the knowledge of the Lord. God, I pray for strength to my family members. In Jesus name. Amen.
Father, we pray that the homes of Christian families today, may return to the foundational bedrock of their Christian faith, where Christ is the focus of their hope, where prayer and praise become the daily delight of each member of the household, and where godly principles and practices become the standard and not the exception. Lord, we recognise that the foundations of family life and godly living are being eroded at the very core, by those that would seek to undermine godly principles and replace them with doctrines of demons, pagan practices and devilish devices. But Father, the Lord Jesus Christ Himself said that He would build His church and that the gates of hell would not prevail against her.
Strengthen we beseech You, Christian families today, and may they be drawn back into closer communion with You day by day as husbands and fathers resume their rightful place as the God-ordained head of their household, and their wives adorn the virtuous apparel of the godly and submissive wife. Where children learn respect and obedience to their parents, and when Christ is honoured at every meal-table and reverenced at every bed-side.
Hear oh Lord, the desires and petitions of Your servants, and may the Christian families of our nation and throughout the world, be united in family prayer, family praise and family fellowship with each other and with You. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord,

Heavenly Father, I pray that the light of Your countenance may shine into the lives of each member of my family, and that together we may draw ever closer to each other and to You, as side by side we work to overcome the challenges and difficulties that are part of every day living, and which can so often rise up as a barrier and hindrance in our relationship with each other and with You. Strengthen I pray, that relational bonds that bind us together, and fill each one of us with the love of Jesus, for it is only as we draw closer to You in godly love that we will be equipped by Your Holy Spirit to reach out to each other in the spirit of unity.
Lord, it was by Your decision and will that we were born into this family, and although it is often said that we may choose our friends but not our family, nevertheless Lord, You were the one that chose us to be a part of this family unit, and You desire that each one of us are also a member of the wider body of Christ Jesus our Lord. Bind us together in love I pray, and forgive us all for the ways that we have not honoured Your name in our home as You deserve.
Help us to be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ, God forgave each of us. And may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God shine in our hearts, from this day forward and for evermore. In Jesus' name I pray,

Heavenly Father,
Our family needs Your help today. We need Your peace, tranquility and an end to the discord. Please pour Your spirit upon us and continue to show us that peace is an embodiment that can only come through complete love, Christ's love. As we lift our family strife to You, I ask that You please replace our disharmony with hope, compassion, and an abundance of blessings.
Give us strength and compassion to understand each other, wisdom and love to help each other, and the trust and patience we need to live peacefully together. Father please show us how to become a holy family a family that works together as one a family that embraces peace and love a family whose members are dedicated to each other and to You. Through the Holy Spirit, Father, please sustain us and shine Your light as You lovingly guide us and our family through this season. In Jesus' precious and mighty name. Amen.
Heavenly Father, You are our ultimate source of strength. When we are weak, You are strong. You lift us up when we are down. You renew our strength, and we soar on wings like eagles. Thank You, God, for always raising us up with Your mighty hands.
How strong our bonds are with our families depends on You, Lord. Which is why we ask You to always be the center of our family relationships. Enable our families to be as a triple-braided cord that cannot easily be broken. Let Your Spirit fill our hearts so we can love each other just as Christ loves us.
In our times of trials and troubles, God, we look to You. Life can hand us many different challenges that we know we cannot face on our own. But with You, Father God, we believe that nothing is impossible. We believe that You will always grant us the endurance to overcome any obstacle that may come our way.
You are our strength when we are weak, God, and we are always grateful when You manifest Your power through our lives. All these we pray in Your Name, Amen.
Heavenly Father,
Please shine your light upon my family.
Give us strength to overcome all of the
difficulties that we are dealing with now
and protect us against any and all problems
we may encounter in the future.
O Lord, please bring us together as we
are meant to be. May the love that binds
us only grow stronger as we fulfill the destiny
you have laid out for us.
Grant my family forgiveness for any sins we
have committed. May we also forgive one
another Lord, as it is sometimes difficult to do.
