Prayer For Difficult Decisions
Father, as I go about making this decision, help me to be humble and seek your face continually. Protect me from my own selfish motives. Give me a spirit of humility and graciousness.
Although this is a difficult decision for me, help me to follow Jesus's example on the cross when he said, Not my will, but thy will be done. I don't want things to be about me I want them to be about you and your plans and purposes for my life. I want your will to be done.
In 1 Peter 5:6 it says, Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. That is what I'm seeking to do today and throughout this whole process: to humble myself and be completely open to hearing from you. I want to do what pleases you. Make your will known. Help me to see it clearly and obey.
Bless me with a spirit of humility, I pray. In Jesus name, amen.
Heavenly Father, your word tells us in James 1:5 that if anyone asks for wisdom, you will give it. Today I'm asking for wisdom to make good choices and decisions. Guide my thinking and sharpen my mind.
Help me to choose wisely between the options that are set before me. Protect me from clouded judgment and bless me with a sound mind. Protect me from being double minded or unstable during my decision making process.
Let all that I do to bring honor to you. In Jesus name, amen.
Father, I bring this decision before You. It is a difficult one for me to make in the natural, but I know that with You it can be an easy one.
I ask You, Lord, to help me see both sides of this issue and to consider all the facts involved in it. Help me to properly evaluate both the positive and negative attributes of this situation.
Lord, I recognize that an important part of being an excellent manager is decisiveness. In processing the information and considering the possible repercussions or benefits of this decision, help me to avoid the paralysis
of analysis. Help me to get the information I need and to evaluate it carefully and wisely.
Help me, Father, to hear Your voice, and so to make the right and correct decision in this case. Keep me from acting in haste but also from delaying too long to reach a decision.
Father, help me not to be influenced by my own personal wants or desires concerning this matter under consideration. Instead, help me to perceive and choose what is best for my department or company, regardless of how
I may feel about it personally. Help me to undertake and carry out this decision-making process accurately and objectively.
Thank You for Your guidance and direction in this situation.

Heavenly Father, I come before You, placing my deepest and heartfelt desires at Your feet.I have a decision to make.Lord, I want it to be in accordance with Your will and plans for my life.
Lord Jesus Christ, counselor of all who come for Your aid and seek Your guidance, help me that in all decisions.
May my heart be not hardened to receive Your word. May my eyes not be blinded to see the truth and obedience to Your will. I pray that the word of God and prayer be my decision-making tools and armor in all aspects
of living.
O God, you know that todayor very soonI must make a
decision which is going to affect my whole life.
Help me to choose rightlyand to choose the right way.
Grant me your guidance, and with it grant me the humble
obedience to accept it.
Help me not necessarily to choose what I want to do, but what
you want me to do.
Grant that I may not be swayed solely by fear or by hope of gain,
by selfish love of ease or comfort or by personal ambition, by
the desire to escape or by longing for prestige.
Help me today in humble obedience to say to you, Lord, what
will you have me to do? and then await your guidance, and
accept your leading.
Hear this prayer of mine and send an answer so clear that I
cannot mistake it.
This I ask for your love's sake! Amen.
Gracious Father, I am dealing with a very complex situation right now. I need grace during this time so that I can do the right thing. Let your grace be upon me so that I may find favor with the right people. Father, do not let me be ashamed for those who oppose me are waiting for me to stumble and fall. Give me a clear vision of where to go and how to get there. Let your grace help me to rely on you fully for the glory of your holy name. In Jesus' name, I believe and pray. Amen.
Father, I need wisdom that only your Spirit can give me. Help me to not lean solely on my own opinions, thoughts, or dreams or what my society, culture, and circle have to say. I need godly not earthly wisdom, Lord. Please supply me in knowledge and truth as I battle these tough decisions and uncertainty. Father, open my eyes to the barriers holding me back from spiritual progress and help me to walk confidently as I discern the next steps I need to take in my life.
