Prayer For Deliverance From Addiction
Oh Lord, I come to You to pray for all who are weighed down with some form of addition. Lord, You are the One Who came to set the captives free and to release the sinners from the chains that bind them. So I lift before Your throne of grace all those that have become addicted to drugs.
Lord, I know some personally and others that I know nothing about, but You know everyone that is enchained by the curse of drug-addiction. Look with compassion on all that are ensnared by any form of addiction, and send help and freedom to all who would accept help. Lord, I pray that they may be released from this imprisonment and returned to a life that has dignity and meaning.
Give wisdom to their family members and those that care from them, that they may be given the support and help to put them back on the road to recovery. Endow them with patience, understanding and perseverance, knowing that this can take time to address.
More than anything Lord, I pray for their salvation. You died for every drug addict and it was Your love for them that caused You to die on the cross of shame that they might be lifted up and seated with Christ in heavenly places. Save them Lord, in Jesus' name I pray,

Heavenly Father, your word says that blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly nor stands in the path of sinners. Lord, my son, has become friends with wicked people, and this has led him to become an addict of drugs and alcohol. He has strayed from the path that you have laid out for him and is walking in their evil ways. Father, remove all friends who introduced him to alcoholism and drugs from his life. Connect him with divine helpers that will influence him the right way and help him to become clean. Quench the evil desire of drugs and alcohol from his heart with the blood of Jesus and help him to experience total freedom. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
Lord Jesus, deliver me quickly from the spirit of addiction for I put my trust in you. Deliver me in your righteousness and let me never be ashamed. For your namesake lead me and guide me. Pull me out of the net of alcoholism and drug abuse for you are my strength. May your face shine upon me that I may live a clean life and glorify your name for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name, I believe and pray. Amen.
Heavenly Father, we gather together here online and come into agreement in the wonderful and powerful name of Jesus.
I lift up those watching this video and we come into agreement and ask for complete deliverance from addiction.
Jesus is Lord of the life of the listener.
The old nature is gone and the new nature in Christ resides on the inside the spirit of the listener.
Those listening desire to be free from their addictions and admit that those habits are not healthy and for their best interest.
We bind and break the power of addiction over the life of those watching in Jesus Name right now.
They are no longer a slave to these old self-destructive habits.
Lord, thank You for sending Your Word to heal the listener and delivering them from all their destructions.
In the Name of Jesus, we declare that the traps and plans of the enemy for the listener are exposed, useless and void, and come to nothing.
We lift up all the relationships in the life of the listener and lay them at your throne.
Please only return the ones You know are beneficial to keeping the listener on the right path.
May every negative and wrong relationship be broken now and end in Jesus Name.
Every negative and ungodly attitude, addiction, idea, desire, habit, behaviour, and belief of those listening to this prayer, we lift up to You and loose it from binding them any longer in Jesus Name.
We loose any negative strongholds in their life and break the power of them in Jesus Name.
We ask that the listener be strengthened not by power, nor by might, but by Your Spirit so that they can submit to You and resist the devil.
We plead the blood of Jesus over the listener and their friends and family.
The devil and his whole entourage are overcome by the blood and Your Word and must bow their knees.
We thank You that the power of the enemy is no match for Jesus...
We ask that you fill those listening with Your love, peace, Spirit, wisdom, revelation, and understanding in the name of Jesus.
Thank You Lord that the listener is redeemed out of the hand of Satan by the blood of Jesus.

will not allow you to be tempted beyond
what you are able but with the

I have tried
All possible solutions
To break this habit,
But though my spirit is willing,
My body is weak.
I realize that
I am struggling against
An evil greater than myself.

Of this situation of addiction.
My family and my loved ones
Have suffered much

To struggle against Satan and his devils.
I feel their power over me,

This addiction is no longer
A human reality
But a product of
Satan's manifold presence

I beseech your presence in my lonely struggle.
As I wake up each morning,
Enkindle in my heart
Your faith and total surrender to God.
Make my will invincible as yours
So that I may continue
With my therapy and treatment
Without relapses
And so that I may seek
Strength from the sacraments,
Especially from the Holy Eucharist.

Dear God, so many youths are addicted to drugs and alcohol. They believe that addiction is the path that has been laid out for them. But Lord, that is not true because you have great plans for them. The enemy has fed them with lies so that he can keep them imprisoned to drugs and alcohol. Please help them to understand their value and to see themselves the way you see them. Uproot all the lies that the enemy has placed in their hearts about their identity. Lead them in the right path and help them to become free. In Jesus' holy name, I pray. Amen.
Lord, I bring my children into your able hands, they are addicted to drugs and alcohol, and it hurts me to see them waste their lives. They are no longer peaceful children. Drugs and alcohol have turned them into violent people, and this breaks my heart. Father, fill their hearts with peace and please give them instant deliverance from their addictions. I have no one to turn to, but you and I know that those who hope in you will never be ashamed. In Jesus' name, I believe and pray. Amen.
