Prayer For Childless Couples
Merciful Father, we bring to You all couples who are suffering to conceive a child. We add our prayers to theirs; that if it be Your will, to let them bear children and raise up many saints for Your glory and for the good of our society. We pray that You will listen to their pleas and reward their perseverance in prayer with peace and strength. Even if Your answer is a gentle no, we ask even more fervently that You will help them to carry this cross and give them the grace to accept Your will. Guide them in bring fruitful in other ways, inspire them with the special mission You have for each and every one of us, a mission that only we can accomplish. Help them find a cause they can be passionate about and find fulfillment. Inspire them to turn to You in all their needs and to live for love of You alone. We make this prayer through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Heavenly Father, thank you that your word is living and active, powerful and effective. Your word says that your peace, which transcends all understanding, will guard my heart and my mind in Christ Jesus. May I know that peace as I give birth. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Generous Father, you are the God who gives strength to the weary. You are the God who has promised to increase the power of the weak. As I progress through labor and delivery, pour out your strength into my mind and body. May I glorify you throughout this process. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
All-Knowing God, thank you that you know exactly what I need as I give birth today. Take away my anxiety and cover me with the supreme calm that can only come from you. Fill my heart with your perfect peace and protect me and my baby from harm. May my child know your love and peace all the days of his/her life. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Loving Father, please bring relief to me in my time of labor. I ask that I would know your comforting presence. Soothe and protect me during this difficult time. May your peace overflow in my life. Pour out your abundant blessings on my child. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
O God of Loving Devotion, thank you that you are perfectly faithful. You never forget a promise. You have promised that all my needs will be supplied by you. Please provide everything I need throughout the process of childbirth. Be with me during the highs and the lows. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Lord Jesus Christ, thank you you speak life into existence. As I give birth to this child, remind me that you already know them. Without you, I can do nothing. Please strengthen me as I give birth. May I see more of your beauty and goodness and praise you throughout this experience. In your mighty name, Amen.
